Old clède (chestnut dryer) in a Cévennes hamlet, near the Cévennes National Park and the Regordane. Very quiet hamlet, beautiful view. Accommodates two people. A baby cot is available for children under 4 years old. Small equipped kitchen (microwave, electric stove, fridge, dishes); bathroom with shower, hot water, towels, soap, shampoo. For breakfast: homemade jams (cherry, or chestnut, or fig, or apricot... or bitter orange) butter, bread in bag, coffee and electric coffee maker, green and black teas, milk. at your disposal to indicate walks, restaurants, visits to do: a large binder. On the slope of a mountain covered with chestnut and pine trees, with a beautiful horizon in view. The small hamlet has two monuments: a 16th century chapel and a 400 year old chestnut tree.

We had a pleasant stay. The owners are very welcoming, very discreet and always very available when we have questions. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing. No noise. A beautiful terrace with a favorite for light and exposure to breakfast. The pool is very refreshing in case of heat with welcome shade space. Definitely recommended. We loved our 3-week stay with my friends. The garden is very nice, fenced (great for dogs), with sunbeds and very quiet.. lots of greenery and without vis-à-vis.. the dream.. The perfect terrace with table, chairs and umbrellas. The house has everything you need. The place is ideal to visit also the Cevennes and the Ardèche. It was a pleasure getting to know Pierre and his mom, 2 interesting, funny and welcoming people.

We spent 4 days at Laurent's in a sumptuous setting. It is a true haven of peace, nestled in the middle of the Cévennes. Laurent is an attentive and considerate host, flexible with schedules. We had a great weekend in this beautiful home that offers all the comforts and amenities needed for warm moments with friends. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped, spacious and very pleasant. Even though the cool temperatures before our stay did not allow the pool to open, we loved the terrace, the garden and were able to enjoy the barbecue! I highly recommend this listing!

Cévennes riverside house

After a very warm welcome by Nicole and Michel, 2 warm, welcoming and nice people, we entered our cool, cozy and authentic house. The house is very large, with very thick walls, so nice and cool, and has a lovingly composed antique interior. For the book lover, there are many books about the beautiful surroundings and the history of the area. Incidentally, Nicole and Michel can expand on this as they please. They are very helpful in finding a good restaurant and excursions in the area. The beds are good; the kitchen well equipped and the terrace upstairs and downstairs very nice to stay. The delicious scents of herbs and honeysuckle greet you when you open the doors! Taking a nice nap is very easy with the sounds of the babbling river about 25 meters away. Nice private beach and extra large garden on the river. A 5-minute drive away, you will find a fine bakery (Mourgues), a neighborhood supermarket (Proxi) and a very good restaurant (Le Buchon Cévenol).
