We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the place so much. The grounds and garden are amazing, spent a lot of time in the river with the dogs. The apartment had everything you need. Sheena and her husband so kind and friendly. Hope to be back again.

Very clean and functional accommodation. It is well located with buses leading to downtown Angoulême, which can also be accessible on foot (if you don't mind walking) I would definitely recommend this place for your stay in Angouleme

Lovely apartment with great outdoor space.

Karine is super nice, responsive and very accommodating, we were able to arrive a little earlier and leave a little later. Everything was perfect, we had good weather and were able to enjoy the pool. I recommend ++

My husband and I loved the apartment and Pierrick and Eve were very welcoming and helpful. Little personal touches like fresh flowers completed the feeling of being at home. Beautiful surroundings, excellent location and perfect amenities. A gem. Would highly recommend it and would come back.

Warm welcome, friendly place, well organized, very comfortable and very well maintained. Small popular and quiet neighborhood, close to the center. The authenticity of the neighborhood, without tourists, is really pleasant. The shared garden is a plus. For having stayed in the old town of Périgueux, I highly recommend this accommodation! We had a great stay at Rebecca's, the accommodation is as described. Rebecca is a very responsive and accommodating host. The house is large and well-equipped for family gatherings. We would recommend it without hesitation 🙂

We spent over 2 months in this lovely stand-alone cottage which had everything for the perfect stay: comfortable clean rooms, large kitchen and bathroom, soothing decor, and wonderful surroundings. We enjoyed the beautiful Cognac vineyards, blossoming cherry trees, flowers everywhere and a refreshing pool. Watch the sunrise from upstairs and the moon rise from your front door (private entrance to the cottage). Thomas respects your privacy but is instantly responsive if needed. A peaceful escape in the countryside, yet only a 5-10 minute drive to nearby towns. Highly recommend it!

The accommodation is very nice, well arranged and tastefully decorated. Everything you need is available, with real attention to detail. The terrace, with its table and sun loungers, is also a real plus! The only small downside: the tenants below are quite noisy.

Pleasant family stay, the house was exactly as we expected, as indicated in the listing. The children were able to play outdoor games and enjoy the pool. They were delighted.

We had a lovely family stay at this characterful house in peaceful countryside. It’s well equipped for children and had everything we needed for our stay. The house was very comfortable with good beds and en suite facilities. Plenty of games and jigsaws available. The outside area is a good size with ample shade and a great pool which we all enjoyed using. Some of us had a table tennis tournament! There’s facilities including a supermarket a short drive away and plenty to explore locally. David is a very responsive and accommodating host. Thanks for a very nice family holiday!

We had a great stay at Andrew and Carol's. The exteriors are incredible and perfectly suited for a group of friends, or family with children (football field, swimming pool, etc.) We enjoyed the bathrooms in the 3 bedrooms. The fourth bedroom is more intended for "children" with original spaces. However, be careful in case of cool days because the outdoor kitchen is the only place where the groups can have their meal, the kitchen being made just to prepare meals (impossible to eat more than 3) Some finishes remain to be reviewed to match the standing of the rates. Another point to clarify, even if they are discreet, the hosts live in part of the house so it will not be surprising to meet them tinkering or gardening in the outdoors. Overall, we highly recommend this place to spend a relaxing weekend with family, friends

Very well equipped and very clean hotel apartment. Right next to the West Indies, so perfect for those who want to get there often. Everything is well designed to stay and visit the area.

Super stay in a very historic building, swimming every day. Internally superb although the main building could do with a bit of attention, only expected with the age of the place. Great stay...thanks Jason
