Egerton boasts many lovely country walks with the villages of Goudhurst, Sissinghurst (with its own castle), Biddenden and Pluckley all within 30 minutes. Famous Leeds Castle and Bedgebury pinetum, the largest in the world are less than 10 miles away. Historic Rye, Canterbury, Whitstable and the channel tunnel to France are all within 40 minutes. Ashford Designer outlet is 30 minutes away.

Beautiful bolthole near the White Cliffs of Dover

Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.
