The Cart Shed at South Barn

A top-notch conversion of a small flint and brick cart shed alongside a beautifully restored 300-yearold oak barn. It feels private too, with its own little courtyard garden, colourful borders, terracotta pots, teak table and chairs – catch the morning rays with an al fresco breakfast. Inside all is fresh, bright, light and comfortable. Beautiful oak floors are toasty underfoot, there are chunky beams, thick fabrics, white sofas, French doors out the courtyard and heaps of books. The bedroom makes great use of the space with its fine painted bed, so settle down with best linen, feather and down duvets, views across the garden, and a fully-tiled walk-in shower that’s state of the art. A generous welcome basket includes a bottle of wine should you be staying the week, the flat-screen TV comes with oodles of DVDs, there’s a fully equipped kitchen in one corner. There’s walking through woods and paths for the more adventurous, and Canterbury Faversham and Whitstable are near. Nearby Ashford has high speed train link to London only 38 minutes away. Charming.

Egghill Farm

You won’t forget the quiet surroundings of this rustic destination where you are surrounded by the North down's countryside, perfect for a nice long walk. There are 3 country pubs near by offering a quiet drink and evening meal. The village is approx 2 miles away, Canterbury, Faversham and Ashford are all about a twenty minute drive. A local landmark when trying to find us is "The Bowl Inn" pub which is approx 1/4 mile from us, we are the 4th house on the right, what3words giants.mush.riverbank

Little Appleby

Dog friendly Little Appleby is located in Egerton, rural Kent, the Garden of England. We are well placed for the tunnel with Folkestone, Le Shuttle 20 miles away. Egerton adjacent to Pluckley boasts many lovely country walks with huge Dering woods walkable from the listing and the villages of Goudhurst and Sissinghurst within 20 minutes. By car, Rye, Canterbury & Whitstable are within 40 minutes Ashford Designer outlet is 25 minutes away. The dog friendly restaurant and pub is a 5 minute walk.

Armada House, Charing

A tranquil getaway in a self-contained apartment within this 16th century house, including a sitting room with TV and dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. Your private bathroom has a shower over the bath. The characterful bedroom has a double bed, storage and comfortable chairs. A range of books and games is available. You have exclusive use of a sun-trap patio within the shared garden. Charing is a pretty village at the foot of the North Downs, with shops, a station and historic church.

We have great sunsets in this area which you can watch from the Garden room.

Apple Blues Farm

A beautiful log cabin set in a private 10-acre spot with stunning farmland views. Relax in your own private hot tub while alpacas roam freely nearby. Whether it’s a peaceful break with your partner or a family getaway where little ones can run free, there’s something for everyone. Feed the alpacas, sheep and goats if animals are your thing. A local pub is just a short walk away, with several great pubs within a 5–10 minute drive. Not far from us is the big cat sanctuary and Leeds castle.

Located on the driveway opposite our home, The Little House offers its own living space in a peaceful countryside setting. Base price is for one guest; additional guests are welcome for a small nightly supplement NOTICE: A neighbouring farm is currently carrying out building works. There may be some noise during normal working hours (Mon–Fri, but evenings and weekends are generally quiet.
