Cottage holiday rentals in Chatham

we stayed over the bank holiday whilst visiting family. fantastic and cosy cottage which suited us perfectly! the cottage was clean, warm and exactly as described. we will definitely be staying again when we next come to visit family. we accidentally left behind some glasses and Naomi was extremely fast to let us know and offered to post them which we were extremely appreciative off.

We LOVE this place! Super relaxing, perfect surroundings. The garden is fabulous, we made the most of the sunshine this weekend!

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

Me and my friends stayed for a long weekend. The house is beautifully furnished. Every bedroom is as nice as the next. Fishing was on our itinerary, and didn’t disappoint. The lake was very much private and the boats were a worthwhile addition. I (we) couldn’t recommend higher.

We had the most beautiful weekend at Sage Cottage. Everything—literally everything—was lovely, from the complimentary chocolates to the treehouse. You could truly see and feel the love that went into it all. Alison gave us a warm welcome, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and her pets were absolutely adorable. I could go on and on, but you really have to experience this wonderful stay to understand what I mean.

Such a lovely place. Patio and hot tub were fab! Lovely gardens and surroundings. Julie and Brian made the stay as easy as possible by thinking of everything! Thank you so much!

Staying at Jo’s cottage was so pleasant and blissful. It was the perfect weekend away. I stayed with my pup and we were both comfortable and secure. I brought groceries with me to cook but the cottage had coffee, tea, olive oil, and a few bits of seasonings which I think was a really thoughtful touch and so useful. The kitchen has everything you need! The secure front garden was also ideal and perfect for letting the dog out and not being worried about him wandering off. It’s also a really beautiful spot to sit and read or enjoy some breakfast or lunch if the sun is out. The area itself is very quiet and peaceful. It’s the best location if you’re a single person looking for a place to stay and enjoy nature.

We loved our stay here, perfect weekend escape for our family. Beautiful garden which our dog and son loved. House was lovely, and had toys for our son to play with. Bedrooms very comfortable. We were made to feel really welcome. Would love to stay again sometime

We had a gorgeous peaceful stay in this spacious annex. It felt private and the choice of games for all ages was really good fun. It had everything we needed and more, very dog friendly and a great walk to the nearest pub in the beautiful nearby village. Highly recommend this air bnb.

Caroline’s studio cottage, in the grounds of her beautiful home, was just delightful. We chose it for its proximity to the Gusbourne vineyard but it was also an excellent base for other local attractions including Battle, Rye and Camber sands. We loved having breakfast in the small courtyard outside the cottage, and the interior was furnished very tastefully. Caroline was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this property.

What a fabulous find! We spent the long May Day holiday weekend celebrating a big birthday for my mother in law at Theresa’s place and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. It was tranquil, immaculate, well equipped, comfortable, cosy and a wonderful place to base ourselves while exploring Kent. What more could you want?!? The rear garden is gorgeous in the afternoon and our little boy (3) had a tonne of fun running safely around. He also loved the fish in the front garden and seeing the farmers go past in their tractors. Theresa was an incredible host - providing clear and helpful instructions before our arrival and providing a basket and fridge of delicious local goodies for us to enjoy through our stay. The house is beautiful and has a parking space which is a huge bonus in Whitstable where it can be quite difficult to park. Location is perfect, 1 minute walk from both the Harbour, and the high street which has beautiful shops and restaurants. The bedrooms are spacious, the garden is beautiful and the communication from Peter was excellent throughout.

Lovely place to stay for a week whilst visiting family who live locally. There are lots of over places to visit all within easy travel distance from the cottage. The Cottage was very cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The views from the cottage over the Thames are amazing and a great way to start the morning by relaxing and enjoying a coffee. The kids enjoyed the games room and been able to play football on the field. Communication and instructions from the host was excellent throughout the week. We will definitely be back.

What a gem of a find. Spent a few days here with some friends, catching up and working remotely and it was utter bliss. The location is excellent, so close to everything!! and the house is perfect, exactly as described, no surprises just comfort and relaxed vibes. Beds were super comfy also, not always a given! Rufus our Labrador was also made to feel very at home in a truly dog friendly environment, he loved his days sheltering from the sun in the cool house and evenings on the beach! Dahlia is a wonderful host! We can recommend the Salt Sea Scrub Sauna on the beach as well as Oyster Happy Hour! We will be returning!

Fabulous cottage and garden. Well equipped and great location. Duncan was the perfect host, would highly recommend, we loved it.

Was an amazing cabin. Really beautiful and typical English countryside. We loved the area and nearby walks on public footpaths and other parks close by. We had great communication, however download everything and direction before coming close to the cabin, there is no cell reception there so we rang the door of one of the houses on the estate to ask direction to the stables. The owners recently moved but the new owner was very nice to help us in the right direction. Perfect place and lovely cottages, there is one small downside but it’s a bit common for the area. Don’t expect too much water pressure for the shower.

Helpful and clear instructions to get into a very cosy cottage. Well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and very cosy feel with nice decorations and ornaments. Good location with a pub and Chinese takeaway just round the corner and bus routes to get into town. Would recommend. Thank you!

We stayed in this cottage over the weekend and it was perfect. It felt like a home away from home. The location is fantastic as you're less than 5 minutes from the beach and shops and restaurants. Whitstable is a great costal town too with much to offer. I recommend going to Whitstable and staying in this cottage. It has everything you need. Sue is a great host too, being attentive, informative and very helpful. We would like to come back. Thanks Sue

We had a fabulous long weekend. The house is gorgeous,; Heather has a unique aesthetic. Lots of great local walks from the house, best to download the ordinance survey app. Fantastic log burner for chilly nights, it really throws out a lot of heat. Heather was the perfect host and we definitely hope to be back.
