Here is my cottage, in the heart of the Chinese vineyard and with the state forest in the back. This chalet will delight you with its calm and proximity to the chateaux of the Loire (Azay the curtain 10 minutes, and Chinon is 12 minutes away). Direct departure from the chalet for hiking in the forest and wine cellars! This 30 m2 cottage consists of a kitchen, bathroom, living room (with sofa bed) and a mezzanine with 1m90*1m40 mattress. Sheets are not provided. The entrance is done autonomously.

Château Tower in Heart of Loire Valley

This turreted hideaway forms the East Tower of a 15th century château - featured in a number of UK homes & interiors magazines. The tower is completely self-contained and its pretty, covered balcony offers breathtaking views over the château's truffle orchard. Internally it is full of character with a circular, beamed bedroom and roll top bath on the top floor and a sitting room below. There is no formal kitchen so this is a place for foodies wanting to experience local French food by eating out

The yurt is perched on a platform between 3 cedars, it measures 20 m2, with terrace and beautiful view (isolated + electric heating). Located on a large quiet and natural plot, close to remarkable places: Azay-le-Rideau 10 km away, Chinon 18 km away, beautiful walks and tastings (wineries, cheeses). Private bathrooms 30 m away, dry toilet under the yurt, kitchen reserved for guests. Organic breakfast €10 or €7 – 12 years old. Linens and towels not provided or at extra cost. Welcome!

The house has a separate bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a single bed, a living room with a comfortable sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Typical Touraine house, made of tufa stone, completely renovated in 2023 (insulation, acoustic frames, etc.). Ideal location for visiting the castles and discovering the local gastronomy. Very easy to access, free parking right across the street, you will be a 15-minute walk from the Château d'Azay le Rideau! Nearby you will find a good bakery (80m), a tobacco bar (140m), a grocery store (280m), a retro waterfront open-air café (700m), restaurants, a wine merchant, a cheesemaker

Welcome to L'Échappée d'Azay, We welcome you to a lovely cozy tuffeau stone house, in the heart of the village of Azay-Le-Rideau.  Located 600 m walk from the Château and local shops (restaurants, butcher, cheese maker, supermarket, wine cellar...), it is the ideal starting point for visiting the Châteaux de la Loire and the cellars of the region.  No less than seven castles are nearby (Langeais, Villandry, Chinon, Rigny Ussé…).
