Cabin holiday rentals in Chelsea

My family had the pleasure of staying here for the first week in June 2025. We had a fabulous week enjoying this fabulous cottage and its surroundings. The inside offered us all the comfort and things we needed, including an awesome hot tub "tub" complete with rolled towels, clothes pegs and plastic glasses! Everything was exceptionally clean and there were lots of great books and games to keep us entertained as we lazed around the beautiful property. The kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun as we explored both directions on the river. Honestly the property was SO nice we hardly wanted to leave it but we did manage to get out a few days to visit Ottawa and the cute towns of Perth & Almonte. Two fabulous restaurants we visited and recommend is Joe's Italian Kitchen (In Almonte) and Michael's Table in Perth. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog Russ who had the BEST time all week enjoying the water, boats and watching the wild life from his little fur rug in sunny bay window.

A truly lovely getaway that was perfect for our cottage weekend! The loft, natural light and hot tub in particular made our stay so cozy and relaxing. Melissa was so responsive and flexible for our check in/out which made the trip even easier. Would come back for sure!

This airbnb was absolutely beautiful! Extremely cosy and clean. Ben was also a very responsive and considerate host. We would definitely love to visit again during the summer time.

This was our second time at this beautiful cabin, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Every moment was enjoyable, from the peaceful surroundings to the well-equipped space that had everything we needed. The hot tub was a highlight—perfect for unwinding while taking in the gorgeous scenery. The location is quiet and calm, making it the ideal getaway from the city. We truly appreciate the attention to detail and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a fantastic two-night stay at this property. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as shown in the photos. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. Nancy and Catherine were wonderful hosts—kind, welcoming, and responsive from the start. They made sure we felt at home and were always available to answer any questions. Their warm hospitality really added a personal touch to the stay, and we truly appreciated how easy they made the whole process. The cottage was amazing for a large group of friends travelling with their kids. The water was beautiful and the kitchen/ eating area was amazing. The only “issues” we had were that there is another cottage very very close to this one, and the hot tub is not directly at the cottage it’s spaced away making it not as comfortable to use. Otherwise, we loved out stay and we are already planning to come back next year!

We had a wonderful stay! Luis was proactive and communicated clearly throughout. The cottage was beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the essentials. The mountain top views from every room made it extra special. A peaceful and scenic spot that made our family trip truly memorable. Highly recommend!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. Two of us and a dog went up to Pakenham for the new year and I can think of a better way to have done it. Unfortunately everything was closed for the week so we didn’t get to experience the brewery, but maybe next time! Everything was great. Clean, beautiful scenery and the creek going by the fire pit was serene. We’ve been to similar bunkies in the past and we actually found this one to be quite spacious. Only things I’d change: We knew going in that there would be no running water for the winter, but a shower would have been ideal - but again clearly mentioned that it would not be available. Using the washroom also wasn’t ideal as the smell could stick around. As long as the door was closed it was fine, however. I will be recommending this place to friends and family.

Beautiful lakeside location. Cozy, well-equipped cottage. We spent a very relaxing long weekend and came back to the city feeling very fortunate to have found Krystal's place, and very refreshed as well. We had one minor issue with a missing piece for a paddle board and Krystal sorted it out immediately with the part in question arriving on the following day. Lac Bataille is a spectacularly beautiful lake. Our location mid-lake meant that we could explore the whole lake easily, by kayak and paddle board, and by walking on the quiet roads. We hope to return soon.

Had an amazing stay in this cozy chalet with a beautiful lake and fall views full of colours! Gurmeet was very responsive and helpful. The drive to this place makes the experience even more beautiful and worthwhile. Will visit again!!

This was my second year staying at Guy's, you can be sure I'll keep on making that 3.5 hour drive from Montreal every year. We found out that there's trout lakes in the area that are stocked yearly. I've yet to try their charted fishing service, but it's on my things to do list. Guy is quick to respond to any of our question, you will be in safe hands on your stay. I'll probably try and book a second trip up before the summer is over, hoping the schedule isn't all booked up.

We had a great time! Cabin was just as described and very clean, outhouse was also really well maintained. There was lots of wood for the campfire and their dock had everything you would need for a fun day on the water. Thank you!

We had a great weekend at the cottage! It was clean and had everything we needed. Eric was clear with instructions and easy to get in touch with. Just know that you’ll have no service all weekend but there is fast and reliable wifi.

Absolutely magical place with the sweetest and most considerate owners you can imagine. I will definitely come back to this place when in need of a calming getaway!

This is a great cozy spot! Beautiful view of the lake and the cabin itself is all you need. Beautiful decor, the kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom was nice and clean and they providing shampoo and body wash. Also towels. The bed was comfy and the living room was a lovely cozy area. My only comment was that there was no curtains but not a big issue. It is a smaller cabin but had a great open concept. They also had a bottle of wine with two glasses to welcome us as we walked in:) Roger and Bonnie were very responsive and helpful with directions! Definitely would come back in the summer to try out some fishing.

This is the third time my friends and I have stayed here - it's a secluded patch of land that is ideal if you like being excluded from the city. Completely off-grid with a lot of forestry to keep outdoor enthusiasts happy.

Our family of 8 stayed May 16th to the 19th and enjoyed every minute. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were we slept like babies. The weather was very cold during our stay so we got to use the wood stove that made the cottage nice and toasty. Most of all we liked that we could take our 2 small dogs with us and that the front yard was nice and flat no stairs to the lake. Darryl our host was very fast to reply to our questions and had everything we needed in the kitchen even an ice making machine. We will definitely return Thank you Darryl

Beautiful location! It is private with excellent swimming (rocky bottom), spectacular sunsets and great fishing off the dock. We really enjoyed having use of the boats too. Lots of grass for kids to run around and nice fire pit. Cottage is rustic and cozy. We had a wonderful stay.

OMG, a stunning cottage with a rustic look. Very beautiful, spacious and very clean. The info and guidelines were very clear. The cottage is set on a stunning lot overlooking the river. We also enjoyed it with the kids. A short family trip to allow me to participate in a sporting event in Calabogie. Thank you so much, we had a great stay

Girls weekend away. Lots of space. Private and peaceful. Loved having the 2 spaces. One for eating and one for entertainment was how we used the spaces. Having 2 fridges and two bathrooms was great with so many ladies.
