This cabin was exactly what I needed—a peaceful escape from the city without feeling too remote. It’s exceptionally clean with a beautiful aesthetic, and you can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into every detail to make it feel like home. Surrounded by forest, the setting is truly special—quiet, grounding, and unique. I felt safe, cozy, and cared for throughout my stay. Highly recommend for anyone needing a restorative retreat.

This airbnb was absolutely beautiful! Extremely cosy and clean. Ben was also a very responsive and considerate host. We would definitely love to visit again during the summer time.

This was our second time at this beautiful cabin, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Every moment was enjoyable, from the peaceful surroundings to the well-equipped space that had everything we needed. The hot tub was a highlight—perfect for unwinding while taking in the gorgeous scenery. The location is quiet and calm, making it the ideal getaway from the city. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. Le chalet correspond à l'annonce publiée sur airbnb. L'endroit est magnifique. On ne peut pas être plus sur le bord de l'eau que ça! Peu d'embarcation sur le lac, ce qui rend le site très paisible.

The cottage was amazing for a large group of friends travelling with their kids. The water was beautiful and the kitchen/ eating area was amazing. The only “issues” we had were that there is another cottage very very close to this one, and the hot tub is not directly at the cottage it’s spaced away making it not as comfortable to use. Otherwise, we loved out stay and we are already planning to come back next year!

An incredible getaway—thoughtfully curated and beautifully designed. Every detail of these cabins feels intentional and well-considered, from the architecture to the cozy interiors. It’s a peaceful retreat that perfectly balances comfort and nature. We loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars, grilling on the BBQ, and exploring the nearby trails during the day. There’s no shortage of things to do in and around the property—whether you're after adventure or just want to unwind. I can’t wait to come back!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. Two of us and a dog went up to Pakenham for the new year and I can think of a better way to have done it. Unfortunately everything was closed for the week so we didn’t get to experience the brewery, but maybe next time! Everything was great. Clean, beautiful scenery and the creek going by the fire pit was serene. We’ve been to similar bunkies in the past and we actually found this one to be quite spacious. Only things I’d change: We knew going in that there would be no running water for the winter, but a shower would have been ideal - but again clearly mentioned that it would not be available. Using the washroom also wasn’t ideal as the smell could stick around. As long as the door was closed it was fine, however. I will be recommending this place to friends and family.

Beautiful lakeside location. Cozy, well-equipped cottage. We spent a very relaxing long weekend and came back to the city feeling very fortunate to have found Krystal's place, and very refreshed as well. We had one minor issue with a missing piece for a paddle board and Krystal sorted it out immediately with the part in question arriving on the following day. Lac Bataille is a spectacularly beautiful lake. Our location mid-lake meant that we could explore the whole lake easily, by kayak and paddle board, and by walking on the quiet roads. We hope to return soon.

We had a great time! Cabin was just as described and very clean, outhouse was also really well maintained. There was lots of wood for the campfire and their dock had everything you would need for a fun day on the water. Thank you!

Nous avons apprécié la vue sur le lac et les feux de bois en fin de journée. Petite plage a proximité pour se baigner. J’avais cru qu’il y avait un paddle et un canot (car figurant sur les photos) mais effectivement pas dans la description des équipements. Ca aurait ete un vrai plus!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille et entre amis dans ce lieu magnifique, en pleine nature. Les chalets sont très bien équipés, confortables et parfaitement adaptés pour accueillir petits et grands. L’environnement est exceptionnel et les activités proposées ont ravi tout le monde, des plus jeunes aux adultes. Un grand merci à Jessica, notre hôte, pour sa disponibilité et sa réactivité. Elle a su répondre à toutes nos questions et gérer avec beaucoup de bienveillance une situation délicate. Son écoute et son professionnalisme ont largement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Nous gardons un merveilleux souvenir de cette expérience et reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Cet endroit est vraiment charmant! Nous retournerons c'est certain. Nous sommes allés en plein hiver, suite à une grosse tempête de neige, c'était parfait. C'est un peu long avant que la place se réchauffe mais nous sommes allés faire de la raquette à notre arrivée et c'était ok par le temps qu'on soit revenus. Il a fallu maintenir le feu aux 3h environ durant la nuit mais on a super bien dormi!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Domaine Labrador. Nous sommes une famille avec deux jeunes enfants et un petit chien. Le site nous a permis de décrocher de la routine, de se relaxer et de profiter d'un grand site très sécuritaire avec les enfants pour s'amuser dans la neige. Hélène nous a répondu rapidement à nos questions, nous a donnés des détails pertinents pour le séjour et a été très accueillante à notre arrivé. Le chalet était magnifique et très propre. Je recommende fortement cet endroit.

Jan Properties was great at giving clear instructions on where to go and a seamless check in. I was arriving in the evening and Jan was able to accommodate such a late arrival. The cabin was very clean and supplied the nessisities in the kitchen and bathroom. I was presently surprised that they supplied coffee, sugar and clean drinking water. Bathroom amenities was also supplied. The barbecue/stove was a great addition as I was able to cook for myself while I was there for a week. The bed was the second best part of my stay as it was very comfortable with clean sheets. I fell asleep very fast. But the best part, was the view from the cabin of the Lake. Three steps away and you get a clear view of a beautiful sunset every night. There was a lot more I could say about how cute and comfortable this cabin was, including the excellent WiFi. Will be staying again 100%.

This was the second stay at this cabin, lovely setting with all the amenities needed as well as prompt communication. I would recommend this cabin for those who like a restful stay in a quiet place. Loved watching the ducks and geese on the lake!

This is the fifth time staying at the property! We love the location, less than an hour from Ottawa, and simple directions off hwy 7. Just beautiful looking out over the lake from the property. Highly recommended, especially to quickly escape the rat race in the city. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. Will go back

À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par l'hôte. Ils sont très informatifs et serviables. Les cabanes étaient parfaites, exactement ce que nous espérions. La famille des environs venait nous rendre visite de temps en temps au chalet, ce qui était très agréable pour tous. Il y avait du café et des filtres, un détail si appréciable pour bien commencer une matinée fraîche d'hiver. Notre chien a également adoré : il y avait un excellent espace pour se promener, et le chalet était équipé de serviettes pour essuyer ses pattes. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour découvrir cet endroit en été. Le meilleur choix que nous avons fait pendant cette saison des fêtes a été de séjourner chez Michel et Hélène. JoAnn

Nous avons adoré notre séjour hivernal à la yourte du Rocher. Accueillant, comfortable, un fabuleux endroit pour décrocher et profiter de la tranquilité de l'hiver. Les matelas à la mezzanine étaient très confortables et nous ont fourni une bonne nuit de sommeil. (À noter: leur orientation, qu'on peut changer en les poussant, peut augmenter le sentiment d'espace pour des voyageurs qui n'aiment pas des petits espaces.) L'escalier qui monte à la mezzanine est bien robuste et bien ancrée. Les chaises et le sofa sont confortables et la terrasse extérieur avec B.B.Q. a maintenant un toit, et est désormais séparée de la toilette chimique, deux belles améliorations. Jason, le proprio est super fin, accueillant et aidant si jamais on a besoin de lui. Le sentier de raquettes qui passe juste à côté de la yourte est magique traversant un boisé plein de petites vallées et collines. Contente d'avoir apporté mes bâtons, cependant! On a déjà hâte à une prochaine escapade!
