Better than a five star hotel if you want support local Thai people, visit family in the area, and experience a truly idyllic homestay in an affluent local home.

It was an a amazing place, not 5 but 10 stars! A luxurious villa, so well put together for the guest's upmost comfort, just perfect. The setting magical in the middle of a beautiful, quiet and friendly village. Great swimming pool and gardens and trees , so idyllic. The greatest thanks go to Heinz and Tan, the nicest couple who will help you with everything, take your with them to Chiang rai, and excursions, show you markets and local life, etc etc, just great people along with their families. We really enjoyed our stay at Wirakans place! It was super cosy and has spectacular views. We got upgraded to the VIP Dome and it was fantastic! Only downside is that the toilet flush didn’t seem to work but it we still managed with the bum gun. The host was very kind and even picked us up and drove us back to Chiang Rai for a small fee. We really enjoyed our stay but keep in mind that if you want to go to Phu Chi Fa you definitely need a car! Sadly we couldn’t see it due to a miscommunication with the host. All in all a great accommodation, would definitely recommend!😊
