At the beginning of the ascent to the sanctuary of Castelmonte, five minutes from the historic center of Cividale del Friuli, an old 19th-century farmhouse recently renovated offers an attic apartment and a double bedroom with bathroom. The adjoining farm produces organic extra virgin olive oil and the walk among the olive groves and vineyards up to a centuries-old chestnut tree is a pleasant immersion in nature and its gentle hilly landscape. We are 34 km from Trieste airport and a 10-minute drive from the highway entrance. If you are traveling by bike, you will find us 100 meters from the Alpe Adria Cycle Route with the possibility of an internal garage for bikes.
