You’ll love my place because you can get away from it all to enjoy fresh air in the pines beside a year-round flowing creek. In addition to great relaxation, there is hiking and trout fishing located 1-mile up stream (stocked regularly by AZ Fish and Game). My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Please Be Aware: 10 miles of Dirt Road to the Cabin.

The Bunkhouse has room to sleep four comfortably. A blowup Mattress can be added to sleep as many as six people in the Cabin. It is a rustic and charming cabin located in the north end of the Area 22 hunting area.

The Hiker’s Haven was a beautiful place to stay! Extremely peaceful, cozy, and surprisingly a lot of space. I recommend walking around the surrounding nature and going to Old County for a pizza dinner!

Kristin was fantastic! We spent a week at the cabin. There was minimal cell reception outside of the cabin which forced the teenagers to unplug from cell phones! It was a fantastic place to unwind and listen to nature. The east verde river was just steps off the back porch. There was lots of wildlife to watch. The kids spent all sorts time fishing and 4 wheeling. We would certainly return for another trip and recommend this cabin to anyone

We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay. The house had everything we needed and is in a beautiful location. Waking up every morning to a beautiful view and coffee on the balcony was so peaceful. Paula was always responsive when we had questions. The fresh eggs from her chickens were an added bonus! We really enjoyed being able to walk right in to the Tonto National Forest from our yard. Just remember it is in a wilderness area and there are plenty of critters around, which didn't bother us. We would definitely come back.

Exactly as described in picture - No surprises …. That’s always nice. Beds super comfortable. AC works great lots of space to spread out. Full size. Kitchen made cooking enjoyable close to town but quiet neighborhood. Great match.
