This space was absolutely perfect for my stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics I needed, and she even provided coffee, creamer and snacks, which was so thoughtful! Everything was clean and comfortable, with high quality bedding, towels, etc.. I highly recommend this apartment for your next stay in state college!

The Cabin in the Woods was the perfect getaway and place to stay while attending my son's graduation from Penn State. It's an easy drive to campus that took me right by the event parking, which was convenient. Erin is extremely responsive and all of the information and instructions were clear and easy to follow. The place is spotless and the furniture is comfortable, if I ever go back to PSU for a football game or other big event, I will think of this place first!

Truly a very special home away from home. This apartment is far more beautiful than the pictures can show! Lots of windows and light with a view of the mountain range and all of the furniture was comfortable and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a home away from home with a perfect view of the stunning and peaceful backyard ready for a nice nap in the hammock, drinks by the fire pit or a stroll to see the chickens! We were lucky to have some of their treasured blue eggs!!! Jen and Chris could not have been more hospitable and friendly, immediately treating us like we were part of the family while also giving us the space and privacy to work through our VERY busy schedule of a Penn State graduation. It was such a comfortable and delightful apartment and I cannot recommend this Air B and B more highly!! They deserve more than 5 stars in my opinion as they go over and above to ensure you have a great Penn State home base! Thank you Jen and Chris!!!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Bob and Joann’s home. It was cozy, clean and had all the amenities needed for a long drive. The property was beautiful and peaceful. Joann came out to greet us even though we arrived late at night, and was so welcoming. Very convenient to get to Penn State. Thank you, Bob and Joann!

Karyn’s listing is a very peaceful, clean and cozy spot. The host was very useful with all the communication before arriving to make check in very easy. The airbnb matches the description perfectly and is very cozy. The location is also super close to Penn State’s campus, about a 10 minute uber drive to all the restaurants, shops, bars and cafe’s next to campus. Great spot I strongly recommend if you’re looking for a easy getaway to explore Penn State or the surrounding parks and national forests for a weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place for PSU graduation weekend. The place was clean and neat and perfect for 4 people. I wasn’t aware that it was a basement apartment and there was no oven/stove. We had brought food to cook breakfast. But we had our coffee there and went out for breakfast. I liked the location - easy enough to get to downtown and plenty of parking onsite.

we loved our stay at Brenda's. Spacious, clean, and cozy and we enjoyed being able to have a fire going on chilly evenings. the sunsets were immaculate and we loved seeing the neighbor's animals (cows, mini horses, etc) roam while enjoying a great view. Brenda was an absolute pleasure to be around and is very friendly. I felt very welcomed and comfortable here, and me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed here as we were waiting to close on a home we are buying nearby. we had actually left two airbnbs right before finding Brenda's (one because of a bad experience and the other because of issues with the house). We were so relieved with our stay at Brenda's. It is easy to see that she takes good care of the rentals and land and definitely takes good care of visitors. I highly recommend anyone to stay!

This was an amazing place. Valerie put so much time and consideration into every little detail. I had brought stuff along with me not being used to things being so well stocked. From the fresh English muffins to the milk, orange juice and eggs in the fridge, along with tea and coffee and all sorts of dishes and pots and pans, I wished I was staying longer. Also, there’s plenty of shampoo and body wash towels. The bedroom is beautiful. Couch super comfortable. It was just generally an overall great experience. I only was there for a quick visit to visit an office for work, but I will be back for that same purpose again. Due to my accidentally leaving my computer at home, I had to add on my husband as a late arrival, which was no problem Thanks Valerie.

We enjoyed our stay while exploring the region. Sherry was a great host and her space was perfect for the two of us. We would recommend staying here.

Leah was very prompt with all responses and the apartment provided just what we needed very comfortably. Bonus points for the exercise equipment and spacious back yard!

The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Nespresso coffee.The location was perfect—close enough to walk to restaurants and downtown bars, but still quiet enough to sleep. Our host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out a breeze. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay at Alicia & Joel’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The space was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location is peaceful and beautiful—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Alicia & Joel were exceptional hosts—friendly, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. All of their instructions were clear, and their hospitality really made us feel at home. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting the area. Unfortunately, we were there for a family funeral. So therefore there was very little advance planning/research that could go into the preparations for our stay. We were in a situation that forced us to act quickly and to take a chance. Well in this case, we got lucky! The property was scenically beautiful and well furnished. It was on the smaller size for 3 adults, but we knew that in advance. It was certainly an all around good experience and we would eagerly repeat and or recommend it.I even made a new four paw'd friend. The only issue at all is my remorse for possibly offending our host by noting the driveway angle. It was not a critical issue, but more of a 'wow' reaction at how quickly it rose from the babbling stream below! You really need to visit to understand. As you come down from the top of the hill and main highway, you quickly transition into a landscape that is indescribably beautiful and picturesque.

My husband and I are familiar with this area, as we lived nearby for years prior to relocating in retirement. Came back for a week-long visit and wanted a private location to stay at. Harry and Marie's place was perfect. Quiet, easily accessible, peaceful location. I'm all about cleanliness, and they were spot-on. Plenty of useful items in the neat little kitchen area (with coffee and creamers to get us started!) I particularly liked the induction cooktop and put it to good use! The living room area is large and very comfortable! My husband especially enjoyed the recliner (It felt like home.) Bathroom spotless, plenty of towels and toiletries, great water pressure. They thought of everything...night lights, spring water, Roku TV with Wi-Fi access, movies and books. Harry and Marie were both there to welcome us and checked early on that we felt comfortable. I'm likely leaving out some other good info, but suffice it to say, we enjoyed our stay at Harry and Marie's!

Great stay, the place is actually bigger than the pictures give it credit for. We appreciated the space, it worked very well for us.

We love living here so nice and clean and everything is good just like our own house. Want to book one more month but unfortunately it is very busy hope can come back in the future

We had a lovely time staying here. It was close to PSU for the graduation festivities, but had a quiet neighborhood feel. The place was very spacious and modern- loved the heated bathroom floor! Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Staying with Angelique for a week-long workshop at PennState was great! The space was so comfortable and had everything I needed. I walked everywhere and enjoyed the neighborhood. I got around campus and anywhere along the main roads in around 20 minutes. It was raining a bit while I was there and Angelique made sure I had an umbrella. She even had coffee pods and some creamer in the mini-fridge upstairs, and all the necessary basic toiletries too which helped me cut down on what I needed to pack. I would have gladly washed my breakfast dishes from each morning too, but Angelique always ran them through her dishwasher and had them clean for me to take back upstairs when I got back each night. It was great to know she (and Chloe the cute dog!) were keeping an eye out for me, and also kept a nice calm upstairs apartment for me to get work done too. This was my first time at PennState and I would love to come back and stay with Angelique again! She was an amazing host!

Everything about this experience was excellent. Communication with the owners was perfect, questions answered quickly, booking very east, beautiful apartment with beautiful views, we even had the friendliest dig meet us and slept outside the door all night. There were snacks in the table and farm fresh eggs and milk in the fridge, k-cups and sleepy tea on the counter to enjoy! Upon leaving we noticed a table by the entrance to the driveway with begonias and geraniums for sale by their son, which we couldn’t pass up. Bought several to take back to NC to plant in our yard so we could remember this awesome experience! Thanks to this family for being so hospitable!

We had a great time staying at Cara's. She was very easy to commincate with. The bed was comfy and clean. If we are ever in town again we'd be happy to stay here.

Liz was a great host. She was super responsive. The place was just as described, spacious, clean and nice and quiet. She provided great recommendations and lots of nice extras. Thanks for everything - we hope to be back sometime.
