We had a very good stay in this quiet, peaceful and well-maintained accommodation. We were able to enjoy the outdoor facilities (barbecue, swimming pool, outdoor games available), which was very pleasant. Communication with the host was excellent, James is very responsive, and informs about the different local activities/restaurants. Thanks again for this stay, I recommend it.

Great places to discover the region. Lots of activities in the area. Impeccable, warm, and quiet accommodation. The pool and hot tub are a plus. The host is very responsive, welcoming and warm. A super lovely home to stay in. The garden and pool are perfect and secure for pets. Lots of villages/towns within 10 to 15 mins with usual amenities and bar/restaurants. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and private, well maintained and a friendly, proactive host this is the perfect place.

A tranquil oasis in the middle of the Charente. Lee and Karl are great hosts and their Gite is immaculate and beautiful. Lee’s restaurant recommendations are brilliant and make sure you go and have cake at Gateaux!!

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

For those who love greenery, Nadine's place is ideal: quiet and peaceful environment, pond and small wood nearby and creek at our feet! I did not have the pleasure of meeting Nadine but our exchanges were very pleasant. Nadine is a thoughtful and attentive host to the needs of her guests. Thanks to her! Excellent stay without any false ratings. I highly recommend it and will happily return if the opportunity arises!
