Un vrai plaisir de rencontrer Chad, un propriétaire accueillant et qui a fait l’effort de parler français ! Le logement a beaucoup de charme et est très fonctionnel! Et la présence des chiens possible est un vrai plus! Hâte de revenir dans cette belle région, qui mérite d’être découverte!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement calme, paisible et bien entretenu. Nous avons notamment pu profité des équipements exterieurs (barbecue, piscine, jeux d'exterieurs disponibles), ce qui fut très agréable. La communication avec l'hôte a été excellente, James est très réactif, et informe sur les différentes activités/restaurants locaux. Encore merci pour ce séjour, je recommande.

Zeer goed verblijf gehad. De gastheren waren heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Je komt er helemaal tot rust. Er is een fantastisch zwembad.

Lieux formidables pour découvrir la régions. Pleins d’activités aux alentours. Logement impeccable, chaleureux, et tranquille. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont un plus. L’hôte est très réactif, accueillante et chaleureuse. Tout nous a été expliqué dès l’arrivé avec un petit livret recap, des restaurants, des activités à faire dans les environs. A super lovely home to stay in. The garden and pool are perfect and secure for pets. Lots of villages/towns within 10 to 15 mins with usual amenities and bar/restaurants. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and private, well maintained and a friendly, proactive host this is the perfect place.

A tranquil oasis in the middle of the Charente. Lee and Karl are great hosts and their Gite is immaculate and beautiful. Lee’s restaurant recommendations are brilliant and make sure you go and have cake at Gateaux!!

Bonjour ! Nous tenions à vous remercier chaleureusement pour ce merveilleux week-end passé dans votre chalet à Nontron. Le cadre était absolument charmant, paisible et ressourçant. Exactement ce qu’il nous fallait pour faire une vraie pause. Votre accueil et les petites attentions à notre arrivée ont été très appréciés. Le chalet est parfaitement équipé, décoré avec goût, et on s’y sent tout de suite comme chez soi. A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

it was lovely to arrive at such a wonderful place, lots of room to walk the dog, beautiful wildlife, very friendly goats. Chauvigny great for food and coffee.

Pour ceux qui aiment la verdure, le logement de Nadine est idéal: environnement calme et paisible, étang et petit bois à proximité et ruisseau à nos pieds! Je n'ai pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer Nadine mais nos échanges ont été très agréables. Nadine est une hôtesse attentionnée et attentive aux besoins de ses invités. Merci à elle! Séjour excellent sans aucune fausse note. Je recommande vivement et j'y retournerai avec plaisir si l'occasion se présente!
