Cabin holiday rentals in Connecticut River

The cabin was one of the best places that we’ve stayed at through Airbnb! It had everything that you would want and the location was fantastic. It is a 10 minute drive to Manchester, a really cute town, and very close to many hiking options. The completely fenced in yard was great for our dog. We loved our stay here!

Porters place was so beautiful that even though it rained constantly when we were there (which who can control the weather) it made for such a great spot. The bed and window view alone is worth it, the sauna and bath and cozy vibes make it great!

So much fun!! The airstream was super cool/relaxing and the animals were so adorable. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

A wonderfully relaxing place to stay. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful, as is the bedroom with the view of the mountains. We plan to come back soon.

The Zink Cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and was even better than the photos and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We particularly loved the outdoor space and indoor fireplace. We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back!

We loved the Hygge House being very comfortable and casual yet filled with high quality, interesting amenities. It is well stocked with what you need, but not cluttered at all. It is simple and clean in appearance, interior seems well/thoughtfully designed. I loved seeing the outside garden plants and the beautiful, relaxing scenery. Our well behaved pups enjoyed being with us and we are so grateful they could come. We aren't hot tub people but it looked lovey and inviting. We spent our days hunting rocks and wish we had more downtime to enjoy this comfortable place!

The place is beautiful, private, quiet, cozy. Monique is super accessible and friendly, I felt super comfortable being able to take my dogs. The house is complete in the details, they thought of everything to make the place as pleasant as possible! Thank you Monique...

My husband and I had a very nice and peaceful stay. We are so happy we got to spend the weekend connecting, exploring and definitely relaxing in the hot tub!

Hilary’s place is the perfect place to relax or to stay with the intention of going on a hike to Mount Cardigan. It’s well equipped with everything you need for cooking, lounging and showering. And for those who don’t have dogs, don’t worry about cleanliness. I could roll around on those carpets. The bed is super soft. You sink right in. It was raining a lot the weekend I was there and I also had a zoom meeting for work so we didn’t go outside. WiFi was super fast. And honestly, it’s so cozy and clean in there, I was happy to stay in the whole weekend.

Had a great time! The cabin was perfect, nice and cozy. Lots of cool things to do and see nearby. Would highly recommend.

Desma's cabin was the perfect getaway for us... tucked away in the woodline with a small stream running through the property. Peaceful, wonderful. Comfortable. We highly recommend Desma as an excellent host and her lovely cabin as an excellent place to stay for a week to unwind.

Great spot for a weekend getaway! I’ve been coming to this lake almost my whole life and was glad to have a space to myself for the weekend. Home was comfortable and well stocked.

Great place to stay. Private and quiet. Host was very responsive to messages. Very comfortable bed. There were extra pillows, washcloths and towels. Very roomy and comfortable. Large bathroom with warm shower with good water pressure. Drinking water was so good. I would definitely stay again. :)

The cabin was comfortable and quiet! The setting was wonderful! We can to rest and relax and Francey’s cabin fit the bill! We would definitely return!

We had a wonderful time at Tina’s place! Surrounded by woods, but somewhat close to the downtown area (super cute too!), the cabin had all we needed, and is also very cozy, neat, comfortable. Excellent bed and pillows, perfectly AC’d, with a fully stocked kitchen. We are happy, and our pups were THRILLED! Huge thanks to the host.

Enjoyed the cabin very much! Cabin is decently maintained and rustic. The lake and outdoor space is beautiful. We enjoyed a few nice walks through the forest and along the trails. Managed to use the fire pit one night and enjoyed overlooking the lake at night and seeing the bats dive for bugs. Grocery store and some restaurants all within a few minutes, so were able to stock up nicely before settling in for a long weekend. Internet worked great and we were able to stream a movie on the TV without buffering. Had an issue with one of the beds the first night but Gene responded quickly and had someone out to fix it in record time. Great experience and would love to book it again soon!

Can't recommend this place highly enough! We came for a weekend nature getaway from Boston. The cabin is so cute and cozy, clean, peaceful, private. Had everything we needed for cooking as well. The walking trails around the cabin are gorgeous. Sally was responsive and friendly with communication, and left a thoughtful welcome basket for us. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great and peaceful place for my girlfriend and I to spend some time away from home. The house was amazing, Agnes was prepared for everything and gave us more than enough information about everything regarding the house, town, and safety. We would 100% come back and highly suggest this place!

What a glorious little getaway! The cabin was an absolute sanctuary - perfect for relaxing and unwinding amidst the most beautiful forest setting. It’s clear that so much love and attention to detail has gone into the design and amenities. We especially loved chilling in the sauna and listening to records on the mezzanine, simple pleasures elevated by thoughtful touches. This is a fantastic bolthole for exploring the surrounding area. Even in a short stay, we had a true Maine experience - hiking through the woods, basking on the beach at Reid State Park, and feasting on lobster at Five Islands, all right on our doorstep. As a travel writer, it’s my job to share special finds like this with the world - but for the first time in a while, I’m tempted to keep this little hideaway all to myself!

We loved the Berghuttli! It was a tranquil, relaxing place to unwind after spending a few days traveling through Vermont. The giant picture windows provided an up close ability to watch nature at it's finest (woodpeckers, rain on the canopy, etc), and would be beautiful no matter what season VT is showcasing. Ethan and Annina were great hosts, and the cabin reflects their attention to design. It was an ideal place to bookend a trip to VT.

Tim’s place is beautiful. Immediately upon arrival we felt right at home- and reading through the guest book it looks like everyone else has as well!! With an incredibly welcoming host, a wonderful array of snacks set out for us, and the most stunning waterfront location, we could not have been happier on our couples getaway. The cabin felt so loved and cozy that we could’ve stayed another week, easily! Highly, highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful few days at the cabin and honestly, the pictures do not do it justice! It was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy, we had everything we needed and it had some unique, quirky features. The location was really good, not too far where we wanted to go and you felt like you were right in the middle of nature. If you want to get away from it all this is the perfect place!
