Grandma's Country Cottage in the historic logging town of Westwood has been in our family since the mid 50's We have shared our home with many other guests wanting to explore the Lassen/Plumas area, Lassen volcanic National Park, Lake Almanor and vicinity. Think grandma's Country Cottage,. Although we are pet friendly , pets must be pre approved and there is a $20 daily fee pp. which will be added per pet.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed the deck and BBQ. The layout was very thoughtful, and we felt comfortable there. It was a convenient location - just a few minutes from town, and an easy drive to Cascade Falls trail & Bucks lake. Hope to return again soon.

We only spent one night at the place since we were passing through. It is a spacious clean house. There is a Pizza place in town with good Pizza and a very nice Coffee place with breakfast and sweets. We only did a little bit of hiking since we had to go on but the area looks like wanting more :-) I would always come back if I stay in the area again :-)
