If your idea of paradise is fabulous views from outside dining, bedrooms and infinity pool, this is the villa for you. So peaceful and private with birdsong amongst the flowers, strawberries and olive trees. It felt like our home away from home. The villa is spotlessly clean with plenty of towels for the 2.5 bathrooms and swimming pool. A central location to use as a base to explore different aspects of Istria including the hill top villages and diverse coastal areas. The host Marjana, is warm and. delightful. She and her partner want to make your stay very memorable.

Super Unterkunft, mit sehr schönem Bad und tollem Garten. Das Wetter war noch etwas kühl, aber die Wohnung gut geheizt. Mary ist sehr gastfreundliche und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt überaus genossen. Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr angesprochen und entspricht den Angaben. Es gab keine Probleme bezüglich der Kommunikation und es wurde auf unsere Fragen stets sehr zügig und zielführend geantwortet. Ich kann die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen und freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch.

We had a wonderful holiday (and honeymoon!) at Casa Valla. We were so warmly welcomed and it was a such a pleasure to meet Matea, her father, Elvis and her mother. We were made to feel so at home and they even gave us kind and thoughtful honeymoon gifts! ❤️ The property is spotlessly clean, fresh and modern with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The beds are large & very comfortable, the shower was powerful with hot water at all times. We especially loved the spacious pool, barbeque area and the view over the fields to the hills. It was quiet and peaceful but only a 5-10 mins walk to either a large supermarket or up the hill to the old town. There were many walking routes and trails, so if you love walking this is a great spot. However, the thing that made Casa Valla most special for us was the hosts and their warmth, kindness and the real pride they take in their property. We would recommend Casa Valla anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a beautiful place ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house near Lake Bled. The host met us upon arrival, gave us a warm welcome, and shared recommendations for exploring the area. We also rented electric bikes from him, which was a great way to discover the surroundings. The house itself was very comfortable and well‑equipped — we especially enjoyed the grill, which was a nice addition for making dinner. The host also organized a rafting trip for us, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. All in all, this was the best accommodation we stayed in during our trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We would love to return!

Host is very helpful and communicative. The place is great but bring good shoes as the entire town is not easy to walk through and be ready to climb no matter where you go. Pool is great, spa is lovely. Goran is super nice

Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie mit zwei Kindern in diesem Haus. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Unterkunft war nicht nur wunderschön eingerichtet, sie war auch super sauber und es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Besonders haben wir die Morgenden im Garten genossen: Mit Frühstück auf der Terrasse und mit viel Spaß im Pool. Dennis war ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Er war immer da, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Dass das Häuschen in seinem Garten steht, war überhaupt kein Problem. Wir hatten absolute Privatsphäre und nie das Gefühl irgendwie beobachtet zu werden. Natürlich ist das Haus nicht riesig und der Platz war zu viert durchaus überschaubar. Aber da wir eigentlich sowieso nur zum schlafen im Haus waren und ansonsten immer draußen, hat uns die Größe überhaupt nicht gestört. Novigrad ist ein wunderschönes ruhiges Städtchen. Wir haben uns dort alle rundum wohlgefühlt.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Potoki in der Hisa Mija sehr genossen. Leider konnten wir die Umgebung nicht so nutzen wie geplant, aufgrund einer Verletzung, dafür hat uns das wunderschöne Haus mit Pool allerdings absolut entschädigt. Wir reisten mit unseren Kindern ( 4 und 7 Jahre) da ist man absolut aufs Auto angewiesen, die Fahrräder mitzunehmen, hätten wir uns sparen können. Die Gegend ist wirklich sehr ruhig und abgelegen und auch die kleine Stadt Kobarid hat nicht allzu viel zu bieten. Also als Fazit: Haus und Pool und Gastgeber: top!!! Umgebung: sehr schön aber für mich zu ruhig und zu viel Autofahrerei.

We loved our stay! The property at the end of Lake Bohinj is lovely, with a beautiful creek flowing behind it and is close to the lake and many hiking trails. The property is big and very well kept. My family had fun playing games on the large grassy area with a volleyball net. The cabin is new, clean and cozy with nice bedding and well stocked kitchen and linens. We made 3 dinners and found everything we needed for food prep. If you're going to cook, you may want to pick up groceries before arriving in the area as the local markets have somewhat limited options. Amenities in the cabin were perfect! We watched movies, took saunas and lit fires in the fireplace - wood and kindling provided in cabin. Washer/dryer worked great and it was nice to do some laundry before moving on to our next destination. Jaka is very responsive. He communicates well and proactively using the AirBnB app.

The farmhouse was fantastic, neat and clean, cool on hot days, roomy and just wonderful. We didn't realize that transportation would be such a big deal...we rented a car for a week, but were too scared to drive, so were quite dependent on our family to drive us around - highly recommend renters get a car! But overall, the place is a total delight...the visiting grandkids and their dog loved running around the huge yard, the place is *quiet*, the storks and ibis amazing and we even saw a big jackrabbit. Thank you soo much, Manuel, for your kindness hosting us.

The apartment was fabulous, newly reburbished meant it was extremely clean and tidy. The pictures dont do it justice as the rooms are much bigger, we were 4 Adults and were more than comfortable with the space. I was sceptical about the The airconditioner, as there is only one, but it worked so well it cooled the whole apartment (we needed it at 34 deg!). The private parking is right outside the door. The neighborhood is quiet and is away from the main road. A huge supermarket (Coop) is 500m away and nice restaurants close by. Grado is a 15 minute drive away and Trieste 30 minutes meaning its pretty central. I was very happy with the stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Davide answered us very quickly and was very helpful. Well done! Trish

Everything was perfect. House was conveniently located 4 min off the highway. Quiet street with great view of the Adriatic from the top balcony. Everything was super clean. Kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Would highly recommend

Inga und ihre Familie waren die besten Gastgeber bei denen wir bisher waren, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist wunderschön und der Ausblick einfach Wahnsinn. Wir waren 7 Tage mit einem 15 Monate alten Kind da und Inga hat alles nötige bereitgestellt. Inga und Andelko sind sehr offen und auch für einen kurzen oder längeren Schwatz zu haben. Wir können es nur empfehlen und wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend sind, werden wir wieder vorbeischauen :-)

We hebben ontzetten genoten van ons verblijf in dit fijn huis. Zo'n rust en kalmte, je hoorde enkel de vogels en de geluiden van de natuur en dan in de nacht naar sterren kunnen kijken zoals je ze nooit ziet. We hadden op het einde heel veel spijt dat we niet voor een langere tijd hadden geboekt. Wij deden vanuit Most na Soči dagelijks wandeltochten in de bergen, kloven en valleien maar ook fietstochten door o.a. de wijnstreek wat verderop. Ook gingen we dagelijks zwemmen in de Soča rivier en dit dan ter hoogte van "Natural beach Volčanski most" Voor de mensen die regelmatig zelf koken is er een goed uitgeruste keuken. Dit huisje is zeker voor natuur liefhebbers een aanrader.

We had a fantastic stay in Podbrdo. Marija and her family were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The Airbnb really is a home away from home. It is very spacious and well equipped. It is quiet and a good place to relax and recharge while surrounded by nature.

Abbiamo passato il Capodanno in questa baita incantata nel cuore del bosco, un posto che sembra davvero uscito da una fiaba. Eravamo due coppie con i nostri cani e non potevamo desiderare un luogo migliore per accogliere il 2025. La baita è accogliente, immersa nella natura e perfetta per chi cerca pace e autenticità. Tina, l’host, è stata estremamente disponibile e gentile, il che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Unico piccolo consiglio: essendo una casa per sei persone, potrebbe essere utile aggiungere qualche accessorio in cucina, come pentole o utensili per cucinare, ma è davvero un dettaglio rispetto a tutto il resto, che è stato semplicemente epico. Consiglio assolutamente questo posto a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza unica e indimenticabile!

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in dem wunderschönen Haus von Nejc. Es ist einfach eine Wohlfühloase! Ein tolles Haus, das mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet wurde. Es ist alles da was man braucht, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Der idyllische Garten hat uns jeden Morgen aufs Neue erfreut und auch unser Hund liebt es dort. Um an die Küste zu kommen muss man 20 Minuten mit dem Auto einplanen, aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Nejc ist ein toller Gastgeber, der immer erreichbar ist und trotzdem absolut die Privatsphäre seiner Gäste bewahrt. Wir werden ganz sicher wieder kommen! Danke Nejc!!!💖

Pia & Mohor sind sehr zuvorkommende, engagierte Gastgeber, die sich viel Mühe geben ihren Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Wir kamen sehr spät an und konnten unseren Check-In dann flexibel selbst durchführen. Drinnen wartete bereits ein gefüllter Korb mit etwas Essen und sogar ein Weihnachtsgeschenk auf uns, was uns wirklich sehr gefreut hat! Die Wohnung ist insgesamt toll ausgestattet und schön eingerichtet, sodass es an nichts fehlt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und etwas abseits, was man mögen muss, für uns aber wichtig war, da wir für unseren Hund ein ruhiges Silvester wollten. Es wurde nur wenig Feuerwerk in der Nähe gezündet, sodass unser Hund kaum Angst hatte. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 1 h aber in den nächsten Orten wie Tolmin, Bohinjska Bistrica usw. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Sehr gute lage, zentral in Barcola, aber ruhig. Tolles Ambiente, schöne Zimmer. Und René war ein hervorragender Host, sehr zuvorkommend, immer erreichbar, informativ, sehr freundlich, vielen Dank dafür. Ohne Zweifel würde ich sofort nochmal buchen, falls ich in Trieste wäre. Danke, René!

An enchanting log cabin full of all desired amenities perched above the Bistrica stream. Perfect location for easy access to bicycle rental enabling a comfortable cycle to beautiful Lake Bohinj & all the adventures which theTriglav National Park offers. Bakery & ice cream shops just a few doors down!

Our stay at the End of the Road was the perfect introduction to Slovenia. The house itself is very peaceful, surrounded by forest and wildflowers. It feels remote but easy enough to reach many walks and attractions nearby. We could drive to hikes further away but on more relaxed days we could explore Vošče or walk into Radovljica. Mateja and Miha were very generous, spending time giving us recommendations for hikes and sightseeing. Local maps and guides were in the house on arrival. Mateja provided yoga mats, a really thoughtful touch, it was so relaxing doing yoga in the loft with a view of the trees. We also loved their little dog Leni and the turtles! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Mateja was always responsive to any questions and gave us lots of suggestions to make our stay even better. Highly recommend the End of the Road for anyone else visiting Slovenia and Triglav National Park.
