Mast House is located 20 seconds from the shore. It’s eclectically furnished with big, bright rooms and a conservatory, patio & garden. There’s central heating, a wood burner and a range of kitchen appliances inc coffee machine. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with roll top bath. The shower is off the kitchen. Note the property has stone steps at the front door/inside, a cast iron spiral staircase open at the top and no TV. We allow dogs subject to confirmation and a cleaning charge.

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, fire pit and paddle boards whilst experiencing breathtaking views. A recently renovated 120 year old workers cottage, set off the main road with private parking and a large back garden that leads directly to the beach. On a high tide the sea can come within a metre or so from the bottom of the garden. Whilst the beach is a public space it is typically only utilized by the residents due to the limited access points along the shore. The perfect setting to enjoy life by the sea and explore the beautiful Ards Peninsula.
