Holiday rentals with a fire pit in County Meath

stunning property, very spacious. Had all amenities required. lovely and peacefull area overlooking a paddock with horses grazing. Close enough to local restaurents, cafes and shops. would highly recommend. any queries where quickly replied to. thankyou

The location and the house were idyllic. The decor is perfect for the age of the house. Perfect to access Dublin but was also a good base for other day trips like Waterford (2hrs), Blarney castle and stone (3hrs) and the Cliffs of Moher (3.5hrs). Lots of really cool local places too Skerries Mills (30 mins), New Grange (30 mins), Battle of Boyne Museum (30 mins) and Hill of Tara (30 mins). Very good local restaurants. Serena is an extremely good host and responds to text quickly. Would definitely stay again.

We fell in love with Michelle’s cottage! The cottage itself and the grounds it is on are just idyllic. We’re all devastated to be home😆 The kids adored watching the sea and the quiet of the place and funtasia wasn’t a far drive so they were in their element. Really hope to go back here soon

We only wish we had more time to enjoy this lovely home. Dermo’s place is full of beautiful art and thoughtful details throughout the house. The room was extremely comfortable and inviting. He kindly accommodated our late check-in, and when we arrived, we had a lovely chat with him on the terrace. We didn’t have time to go to the restaurant he had recommended, but to our surprise, he ordered pizza for us — such a kind and generous gesture. The room was filled with little treats — snacks, chocolates, and drinks — which made our arrival feel extra special, even better than a hotel. If you’re visiting the area or passing through on a road trip, Dermo’s home is the perfect place to stay. I highly recommend arriving early to enjoy his company and hospitality.

Brilliant hosts! Very warm welcoming, explained everything we needed. Had set up the hot tub & BBQ for us to use whenever it suited us and even give us some fluffy bathrobes for when we used the hot tub. Such a nice and peaceful area we will definitely be back in the future. Thank you again guys 😊

Julia was very friendly and hospitable, making me a cup of tea in the evening and coffee in the morning. Bedroom was clean, tidy and comfortable. The house had alot of character and was situated in the peaceful countryside. The staircase is very tight, so luggage will need to stay on the main floor. I thought the place was closer to the city (45 mins away) but there is a direct bus to the airport every hour ($10). Julia even drove me to the bus stop.

Charlene was an amazing host! She was extremely helpful with recommendations, information, and tips from the beginning. She checked in with me right before the trip, when we arrived, and responded immediately when we had a question during our stay. She even let us know about local activities going on as we were there during National Heritage Week. This allowed us to see things we might not have known about. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and spacious. She had toys, crafts, etc. for our son to play with during our stay. Everything was as described and it’s in a great location. We were able to go out and explore during the day and then had an easy walk to a restaurant when we returned. I hope to be back one day to enjoy this space again!

Perfect homely stay and perfect location. Peaceful and so conveniently located with only a 5 min walk from the wedding venue at Station House. I visited with my mum and baby and it was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. Sinead is a friendly and welcoming host and really couldn’t have done more for us. We would thoroughly recommend.

Quirky little cabin, just perfect for a relaxing break for two. Very cosy, well stocked kitchen and lovely seating area to the side. Catherine was very helpful with directions, early check-in and WiFi set-up. Thank you, can't wait to return ☺️

Really enjoyed the stay! Location is lovely. Lots of historical sites within a short distance. Very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. House is gorgeous and in a lovely setting. Would definitely recommend!

The stay was exactly as described. Really enjoyed the picturesque surroundings nestled in the woods. Waking up to the sound of birds and cows was a welcome reprieve from the sound of alarm clocks. The cabin is quaint but with everything you need and more. The tapes and polaroid created an old fashioned feel, making this a particularly unique experience. The lake and grounds were the perfect surroundings for our engagement!! Loved this stay so much we'll definitely be back!
