Susan's place is like a little slice of magic. Honestly. This was our 9th time staying. We call it our vacation house, because it feels excatly like the place I would choose to have, if I was lucky enough to own it. All the details from the fresh cut flowers, farm eggs, and bird feeders to the amenities like the fully equipped kitchen, hot tub and deck to watch the world go by just make it perfect. If you need to relax and recharge your batteries, you found your place. Our dog also LOVES it here.

Loved this home! We had family visiting from France and we took the opportunity to stay on Whidbey and what drew us to Emily’s place was the truly family atmosphere of the home. It was awesome. So many things to play with, from the jacuzzi, sauna, bocci ball, giant chess board, and bikes. Super fun. Also, the home has so many cooking supplies and a grocery store 2 minutes by car. Loved the home :-) great vacation.

What an amazing getaway! Our family of 4 spent Father’s Day weekend at this beautiful and cozy home. Everything was top notch! Directions were clear and checkin was flawless. The house itself was the home away from home we’d hoped it would be. It was clean, comfortable, and felt extremely private with all the beautiful trees surrounding the property. We enjoyed the hot tub, the long walks in the amazing private beach, cozying up on the couch or lounging around in the yard. The only downside is that we had to leave! We would 100% stay here (again, and again, and again)!

We had a wonderful stay! We're a family with three young boys under the age of 8, and the home worked really well for us overall. A couple of small suggestions that might help future guests: it gets very bright upstairs in the early morning — our kids were up at 4:30am on the first day! Curtains or blackout shades would make a big difference. We ended up using foil as a quick fix, which worked well. The location is fantastic — just steps from the beach. For families with young kids (or older guests), a small set of portable stairs down to the sand would be helpful. We temporarily moved the hot tub steps to make it easier, which worked in a pinch. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked for cooking, and the neighborhood is peaceful with absolutely stunning views. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. A friend recommended staying at Barred Owl Cottage for a local wedding - and the recommendation did not disappoint! Jim and Chris were superb hosts and the cottage is so cute!! I really appreciated the excellent communication prior to and day of our arrival, including the PDF of all the great things to do in the area. The back porch of the cottage overlooking the woods was our favorite part! Check out was also a breeze and we will definitely recommend Barred Owl Cottage to anyone who needs a place to stay when they are on Whidbey!

We can’t say enough about the fabulousness of both the hosts and this Airbnb! Dave and BJ are so incredibly nice and flexible. This is such a kid friendly place both in location but the indoor toys, books and outdoor toys they provide. The hosts live on the back of the property but are non-intrusive. Honestly, we would have loved to hang out with them- they are that wonderful! The Airbnb is fully stocked. It was so nice to not have to run out for things like coffee, ketchup etc. A+++++++++++

This is a magical relaxing spot nestled in the trees with the most incredible views across the water. The house is at the end of a quiet road and is peaceful and serene. The kitchen is well-stocked and the hot tub and bath add to the relaxing feel. The only thing I would note is that the stairs to the second floor are very steep and may pose some accessibility challenges. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this gorgeous place with very responsive and attentive hosts.

This was one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed at! The view was breathtaking, we saw seals multiple times! The house was very well stocked for everything you could possibly need and even more. The beds are extremely comfortable and very nice and clean! If we come back to whidbey island we will definitely be staying here! PS:If you can play cat goat cheese pizza game that they have there, it’s a blast!

Perfect vacation. Exactly what I wanted in a beach house. Cozy and comfy and right on the water. So peaceful. Saw a pod of whales, several eagles, humming birds, sea otters, bunnies and deer. Loved reading the history of the home and property. I did bring a set of cotton sheets. All the beds had polyester sheets which I don’t care for. I always bring a set just in case. Wish I had brought a sheet pan. I couldn’t find one in the house. I improvised and got by just fine. The evenings were stunning especially looking north. All and all, loved it!! Thank you Cohoe Cabin owners!!-

I had a wonderful stay at Melody's cabin. From the moment I arrived I was charmed by the view and the cabin itself is much nicer than the photographs convey. It's very spacious, peaceful and private with every amenity you could need. I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood with easy access to the state park, and the local store. The sunset views were outstanding. Definitely one of my favourite air bnb stays so far! Thank you, Melody, for the hospitality and also being open to dogs. I can confidently say that they also really enjoyed the visit!

CaraMia's beach cottage in Camano far exceeded our expectations. It was fantastic. Set on a couple of well-landscaped acres in an idyllic, peaceful, semi-rural area, it's a cozy beach-style cottage overlooking Port Susan on Camano Island. The views are great. It was easy to walk around the vicinity where there are even a few stables with horses and an alpaca or two. Yet the cottage is close to stores and restaurants a few miles in either direction. We brought our dog and spent the time walking, hiking, beachcombing and cycling around Camano Island while enjoying good food at nearby pubs and restaurants. I would highly recommend CaraMia's Camano Cottage! We'll definitely be back to visit in the future.

This beach cottage was prefect for two couples and a pup. The kitchen is well equipped. It’s just a short walk from the beach. The beds are comfy. It has a great outdoor space with grass and patio furniture. Would absolutely stay again. We had a wonderful weekend here

We stayed here with our 3 dogs and had a very relaxing getaway. Mimi was there to greet us and show us around the house and property. She was very friendly and welcoming. There were fresh eggs and bottles of water in the fridge. Plus there is a hot/cold water dispenser that was very handy. The yard is good-sized (lots of plants and flowers to see) and completely fenced in so our dogs were able to sniff and explore on their own. So happy we found a place that is willing to let us bring our pups along! Super comfortable couch for watching TV in the evening. Beds are also very comfortable with big fluffy pillows and blankets. Very cozy and homey. The covered porch was great for meals with lots of bird feeders right outside the window for entertainment. Lots of attention to small details everywhere you look. Great location within walking distance of Deception Pass State Park and the marina. A short drive from restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Overall, this was a excellent place to stay!

Too short a response page to allow the praise deserved. We own a 5star VRBO in the Virgin Islands, and picked up some tips from this rental. The beautiful craftsman details in woodwork and design combined with modern kitchen and bath was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Everything we needed was provided. Comfort in bedding, temperature, furnishings, and ambiance. Tastefully decorated and loaded with unexpected utensils, coffee, snacks, etc. Our son and his wife live in Snohomish, so we visit regularly. This home will now be our “go to” whenever we return. We drove into the driveway welcomed by four deer grazing on freshly mowed lawn on this impeccably landscaped property. We saw them again while walking the grounds, enjoying the variety of colorful plantings and natural towering trees. One of the highlights for me was running into the owner grooming the grounds when we returned midday. What a lovely person to chat with and get to know. A new friend!!!

The cottage is very comfortable, peaceful and has a gorgeous view! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, visiting the beaches and watching sunsets from the covered porch. The bed was especially comfortable and we slept great! Husband especially loved the turntable and awesome record collection! A word of caution if you have any mobility issues- there are several steps up to the front door from where you park on the street. We enjoyed our stay!

Field View Cottage is truly a special place. The lovely views that stretch to the water are remarkable, and the home is architecturally beautiful, welcoming and well appointed. Would absolutely stay again!

What a perfect place! the best appointed kitchen I've seen in an airbnb. We loved our time here and would love to come back some time. We didn't realize there was a close neighbor from the photos but there's only one and the place is quiet and tucked back from the road and the views are breathtaking. Watching the clouds roll in, the sun set over the island, and hearing the birds chirp was magical.

My husband and I came to the PNW for our 20th wedding anniversary. This little cottage was perfect. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the spices and kitchenware you need to make a meal. The beds were very comfortable. Jane's communication and dinner recommendations were top-notch. I suggest Callens for breakfast and Front Street Grill for dinner/lunch. The best part, sitting on the driftwood at the beach in the mornings, drinking my morning coffee, watching seals and porpoises a stone's throw away. Don't let the fact that the Navy practices touch-and-goes nearby. They practiced 2x in the 4 days we were there. It was no big deal and pretty cool to see the jets. Neither time was for more than 45 minutes. I'm already looking forward to coming back next year.

Ann's place is a great charming cottage that is just so unique and user friendly I loved all the classi VCR movies they have to watch and was also happy there was a chess board available. There's a nice tub to take a bath in. The place has great natural light with all its skylights and beautiful wood windows. Anderson probably. we were extremely comfortable and happy here.

This was our second stay at the Secret Cabin, and it was just as incredible as the first. We've stayed at several places on the island, but this one is by far our favorite! Carolyn goes above and beyond to create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere—we felt at home the moment we walked in. Despite some less-than-ideal weather, the Secret Cabin provided a perfect haven for relaxation. We highly recommend it in every way.

We had some issues out of our control on our trip and Gayle was great throughout all of it! 10 out of 10 would recommend her place to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay!
