It's a very quiet neighborhood and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Communication and check-in were smooth. Highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing stay. The area is also very well connected by public transport during the day via bus.

Very well located as a starting point for trips to Lisbon or the surrounding area. Buses and trains can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Also shops are in the immediate vicinity and in Rua Cândida dos Reis, which leads to the ferry port, there are some very nice restaurants/cafes. The place is very clean and very tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need and don't necessarily want to take with you when traveling (iron/small ironing board, for example😅). John Nicolas is a very nice and helpful host who responds quickly to any questions that come up. The most beautiful addition for me in Almada - be sure to go to the River Garden at sunset and enjoy the great views of Lisbon, Ponte 25 de Abril and Cristo Rei.

We really enjoyed our stay at João's place! It's spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we need. The bed was so comfortable and the windows/blinds stopped the light and noise so well, we slept/rested very well. This place is on the other side of the river from Lisbon, but the buses/ferries cross the river frequently and quickly. The public transport is very close by. There were also supermarkets, small stores and nice parks very nearby. João and his family are super friendly, kind and helpful. We got lots of local recommendations from them, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, a great place for either a short-term or long-term stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sabrina’s place. The beaches were close (10-20 mins by uber). Lissabon wasn’t far either (15 mins by uber) and the airport was 20 mins away. I wish I could speak Portuguese to communicate better but Google Translate was our best friend! The bed was very comfortable and Sabrina is a very sweet person. I could always reach out to her whenever.
