Monthly Rentals in Culswick

Fiona had thought of everything, the cottage is very clean, well equipped with loads of really good books including lots on Shetland. There is tasteful, local, original art on the walls. But more than that we arrived to find garden flowers on the table and in the kitchen, a calendar with local events such as Walls boathouse supper and we were invited to pick rhubarb from the Croft garden - really thoughtful touches. There is a picnic table outside to enable you to savour the view and birds (curlew, megansar, wheatears, eider ….) a really special place. Highly recommend.

The cottage was a lovely, cosy place to return to after a day out exploring. It had everything we could possibly need. The garden was nice too, and the peaceful location with the beach two minutes walk away was ideal.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rocklea, it is a beautifully decorated Victorian house with lots of character and every modern convenience. It felt like a real ‘home from home’ from the moment we arrived with a really comfortable lounge, a well-equipped kitchen and a bedroom with a fantastic view of the shore which is right in front of the property. It was one of the best Airbnb properties we have ever stayed in and we could not fault anything. Walls is a great base for exploring this beautiful and quiet part of Shetland and there are lovely walks from the property without even taking the car. If you are in Walls on Friday lunchtime we recommend the cafe at the kirk!
