Bev’s place was clean, bright, and beautiful. The open concept living area made it feel very spacious, and the private location tucked behind the main house with beautifully maintained gardens was a real oasis after a day at the beach with the kids. Located next to a restaurant/bar, with a daily market for convenient breakfast, lunch, and household items a couple blocks in one direction and the beach in the other, I don’t know what else you could ask for! We’ll be back for sure.

Wonderful place with exceptional hosts. The layout was perfect for our group of two adults and two kids. Easy 2 min walk to the beach. We all agree the best food we had on the trip came from the restaurant and shop downstairs and the best way to start our day was with a homecooked breakfast at Tami Lyns place. We hope to make this our yearly spot and would highly recommend and come again.

very awesome place! Right down the street from some great lakes and one of my favorite swimming spots. loved the little extra things like fire pit. and great air conditioner. the Jenga blocks were fun!!

This is a great place to stay if you want a slice of life in the picturesque village of South Freeport, Maine. It's a very private location, and convenient for taking walks down to the water and around the village. The Airbnb itself is comfortable, quiet, and well appointed.

We stayed in this peaceful cottage for 2 weeks while visiting family in Brunswick. Ann's flower gardens were blooming and beautiful. The two labyrinths were fun to go through. The cottage has efficient heating & cooling. Cooking in the kitchen was easy with the double hot plate and microwave oven. The small refrigerator was perfect for what we needed. It came nicely stocked with breakfast items, including coffee Kpods and half&half. The "white noise" from the river was great for sleeping. Note that the stacked washer and dryer are in Ann's home right next to the cottage and easily accessed (a washer is not in the cottage per the description). There is a newer Samsung TV that easily connected to the internet, so the cable box is no longer needed. Ann had the internet provider come out and they replaced/upgraded the modem and router to about 650 Mbps speed, just perfect. We'll plan to stay here on our next visit. A delightful stay.

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend with friends and kids! The beach is just steps away, and we loved being slightly removed from the busier area near the pier — it made for a more relaxing stay. The apartment was incredibly comfortable, and the thoughtful touches like free coffee, muffins, and cinnamon rolls were much appreciated. The hosts went above and beyond by providing brand-new sand toys for the kids, which was such a kind gesture. Having a store right downstairs made grabbing anything we needed super convenient. It was an absolute pleasure staying here!

Salty Air offered an amazing place to stay. The room was private, clean, and beautiful. It is in walking distance to multiple state parks, and only 20 minutes from downtown Portland. I would highly recommend Salty Air!

Cindi’s property is beautiful and perfectly decorated!! There were many extras for us that we appreciated. Cindi could not have been nicer or more helpful. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at this property. We were happy we picked this rental.

Exceeded expectations! The location is ideally located near Cousins Island and Yarmouth. Super clean, and relaxing. I loved the balcony that overlooks a gorgeous wooded view. The kitchen is well appointed. We were in town for a family grad party, and my son enjoyed the proximity to the bike path for a scenic run to the island. We were fortunate enough to meet Luna and Denis, who was very helpful with local recommendations. The location is very private and easy to get to. The check in process is clear and easy. The beds are clean and very comfortable. We look forward to returning.

We absolutely loved Heather’s place. It’s tucked away in a really peaceful corner. She has made the inside and the outside of the guest suite extremely accommodating. The inside is very thoughtful and has everything you might need! The Airbnb was impeccable, from the construction to the cleanliness. We want to come back to Portland in the future, and won’t hesitate to stay here again!

This space was wonderful- bright and sunny, great location, nice size, felt private and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who worries about being too noisy. I was traveling with 4 and 8 year old boys and we could relax and carry on as we do without worrying that we were disturbing other people. Everything was comfortable, in good condition and it was very easy to settle in and enjoy our trip! The washer and dryer was very nice to have, as well!

This was an awesome place to spend my first anniversary with my wife. It honestly felt like our home. Everything was close, the beach, restaurants, and stores. Anthony and Jennifer helped me surprise my wife.

What a beautiful apartment nestled in the woods of Maine. Still close to the ocean and downtown Freeport. I was there in winter and it snowed. That made me appreciate the cozy comforter.

What an incredible place. Beautiful views, peaceful scenery. We loved the privacy and watching the boats drive by. Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore Maine or just have a quiet weekend.

A true gem of a home. The location is superb--lots of sounds of nature, very peaceful. The home is quite spacious and is larger than it appears in the photos. It is modern and clean--exactly as the listing and the other reviews describe. I would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at the Barn'acle! Julia's home is located just a short walk from many great restaurants, cafes, and shops, as well as a quick drive from Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park and several other attractions. The space has recently been renovated and was very clean. We would love to stay there again next time we're in Freeport.

Bernice is a sweet and wonderful host with a great sense of humor. This place made us feel like we had a home away from home and was even more special because it was in my hometown. There was everything needed to enjoy and maintain a great 5 nights in the natural surroundings of Maine. We also enjoyed meeting the young couple next door and there well mannered children. We surely hope that this property is available the next time that we head North.

Our stay at Joan's guesthouse was amazing. This BnB is STOCKED with everything you could want and need. Super clean and cozy, too. Lots of mirrors (always good when you have a lot of people getting ready at once) and enough seating for how many people can stay! Joan also left a bunch of snacks and refreshments for us which especially hit the spot after our drive up from Pennsylvania and kept off the hanger during our busy weekend. I can't wait to stay here again!

I can’t say enough great things about this location! It was so great to have the entire house, it was clean and beautiful. Felt so welcoming and I would recommend this house to anyone looking to be in town but also have privacy.
