Holiday rentals with beach access in Currituck County

Sam and Katy were wonderful hosts leaving nothing to be desired. Our stay was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the surroundings serene and beautiful. We rode our bikes around and saw a bit of wildlife. The pool was a dream, and so were the accommodations. We made use of the outdoor shower more than once! The large deck outside our door, furnished with cushiony furniture, overlooks the pool and the lovely backyard--a perfect spot for morning coffee. The king size bed and linens made for a very comfy night's sleep, and the full bathroom was equipped with plush bath towels. There were even pool towels, beach towels, chairs, umbrella and more for our use. There was wine in the wine fridge, coffee & Keurig, snacks and a sweet kitchenette for our use. This place is beautifully decorated, tastefully furnished, and amply appointed. We were a short drive from the beaches, fine dining and so many other attractions--the location is ideal. I highly recommend a stay here!

Had such a great stay with my husband. The Airbnb is tucked away on a quiet, woodsy road. Still great location with the main road within 2 minutes away. Great local spots nearby. We took advantage of being so close to the golf course. The space itself was clean and well kept. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. LOVED the outdoor shower.

Our stay at the Sit N' Duck was absolutely perfect! The residence is well laid out with amenities to make your stay as easy and care-free as possible. Mary and Larry provided everything we could have possibly needed, and the washer and dryer were a helpful additional touch. If we wanted a beach day, it was only a 2-minute walk to a very secluded and peaceful section of the beach with great views, the sound of the ocean, and pristine waves. We brought a small beach cart which was easily maneuvered out and down the beach access boardwalk, but if you're packing light it wouldn't be hard to carry everything for the short distance. Even in the rain, there are wonderful covered sitting areas to sit out and enjoy the rain as we read a book or just chatted. Additionally, there's no shortage of things to do nearby in a short drive up to Duck or down to Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills. We couldn't have imagined a better trip to OBX and we look forward to hopefully staying again in the future!

Our family came to visit for a weekend trip and had a wonderful time. The home was walking distance to the beach and close to local activities and restaurants. The home was very clean. We enjoyed having a back yard to play frisbee in as well. The instructions to get into the home were simple and our host kept us updated along the way.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in the outer banks (Duck) as the perfect central location to do anything and everything with all of the comforts of home, amenities for all activities, and a great place to come “home” to after long days of exploring and activities this is IT! Jessica was a great host and has provided everything needed for a comfy stay including everything you need for a day at the beach, a good nights sleep, morning coffee any way you like it, as well as the small touches like quality TP. We were no more than 20 minutes away from anything we wanted to do from Nags head (Jennette’s Pier) to the beginning of the 4x4 beach drive in Corolla. In our short weekend stay we visited the Pier, the largest sand dunes on the east coast, saw alligator, bear and bald eagle (among other wildlife) on the refuges , a day on the beach in Corova seeing the wild horses and great walkable restaurants after seeing deer outside the door. Great place! Highly recommend!

We had such a great visit staying with Kristy! It was like staying with a family friend- she was so flexible with our late check-in, she was welcoming and accommodating. She had great recommendations for places to check out and even offered us beach extras like umbrellas, blankets, surfboards, and more. She made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived! The place is exactly as described. Even though it’s attached to her home, the apartment is completely separate with its own entrance. You get a full size fridge, basic kitchen amenities, a comfy bed and even an extra trundle bed which is new! It was less than a 3 min drive to the beach which was so convenient, and surrounded by fun shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. We would definitely return!

We had an amazing time in Duck! Erin’s place is right on the water and the apartment is much more spacious than I thought. Great location on the Sound with lots of shopping, coffee shops and restaurants. Driving distance to other great Outer Banks towns! We had such a wonderful time! Erin was super attentive to questions and her place was remarkable. Great find! Thank you!

This place is a GEM! The apartment was pristine. Decor was cute and offered a relaxing vibe. We loved the black out shades option. Top to bottom I can’t say enough. Rachel had every thing you can imagine you may need, down to a sewing kit. She thought of it all. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. The area was exceptionally quiet but we rode our bikes daily about 15-20 min up to Duck to local restaurants and shops. The back road will take you to the walking/bike trail and keep you off the Main Street. The beach is literally a one min drive to the parking area, which we loved having access to the private entrance. I also genuinely loved the soaps and toiletry samples. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Property is just as pictured and is in a great location-7 minute walk to the beach, minutes drive from restaurants and shops in Duck. Clean and well maintained.

We loved Cheri’s place! It was exactly as advertised and everything we were looking for. The walk to the beach was very easy and the dock on the sound was really nice. I would recommend this property to anyone without any hesitation.

This place is perfect! Tucked away from the touristy areas, yet only 7 mins to beaches. House is kept in immaculate condition, even the garage was clean and able to keep my car in there. We loved that they left a pamphlet of their favorite places and we hit a few of them, and they were indeed awesome. If we head back to Duck, we will be booking Chloes Cottage again!

This place was perfect for 4 people a baby and our two dogs. The place was very nice and clean, and the surrounding area was very quiet and nice. If I make another trip I would be sure to book again.

I LOVED this place and felt right at home. It was very private and clean with lots to do on site. The bed was so comfortable too. There's a clean and heated saltwater pool, gym, and the Salty Rim restaurant right next door. I walked on the beach every morning! The beach was not as crowded as I expected it to be for memorial day weekend. I will recommend Brittany's place to everyone! She was so welcoming and super responsive. Great host!

What a great place to stay. Splash of lime worked great for our group. The house is set up nicely and has lots of storage available. We were lucky enough to get daily visits from the wild horses throughout the day. Martin is an excellent host and responded very quickly to answer any questions we had.

This was a perfect place for a large family to stay. The location is perfect as it's walkable to private beach where there is hardly any crowd. There are various restaurants within a mile of this location and everything was available for a great time.

This was hands down the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The home was spotlessly clean—truly immaculate from top to bottom—and it was immediately clear that the host had thoughtfully anticipated every possible need before we even realized we had them. We were wow’ed the moment we walked in. Every detail, from the kitchen which had all the essential appliances, cookware, and dishes we needed to prepare meals comfortably, to the cozy extras, made it feel like a high-end retreat. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had beautiful, upgraded features that gave it a luxurious feel. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better—a short, easy walk to the beach and a heated pool that looks like you’re at a resort. We felt right at home and totally relaxed. If you’re looking for a stay that’s clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated down to the last detail, this is it. We’ll absolutely be back! And actually, I can’t wait to come back!

Unpack, relax, and enjoy! Attention to detail is extraordinary! Everything you could ever want is at your fingertips. An elevated coastal experience with the view of the turquoise water and sand dunes awaits. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee and spectacular sunrise. While the place is nothing short of spotless, it somehow still feels very welcoming and cozy. The decor is tasteful with impeccably well-selected pieces everywhere. We enjoyed the short walk on the boardwalk to the beach with a daily drink at the snack shack. My husband enjoyed a chance to chat about the weather, fishing, and local restaurant recommendations. We especially loved the restaurants along the sound with gorgeous sunsets. Our family of five with three young adults enjoyed every aspect of our week at the beach. Don’t miss this getaway!

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

Perfect accommodations for family of 3 and 2 small dogs. Friendly walking area for dogs. The condo was perfectly clean. We loved sitting outside drinking coffee and letting our dogs enjoy the outdoors. We were in a B unit. Pool was perfect and clean after a long day at the beach. We appreciated the wagon to hall our beach gear. We used the public parking which was a 3 minute drive. We are not much for crowds so the location was ideal. I like to cook and the kitchen has everything you need. Local restaurants and fish markets were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this condo and Lisa was very helpful. We will return!

Great stay at the beach. We loved sitting on the deck with coffee! Kitchen was well stocked. Great location to the boardwalk, beach and pool.

What a lovely gem of a home! Perfect location as it was walkable to beach. Very kind to provide beach chairs, wagon, beach towels and beach umbrella. Spotlessly clean. Only surprise was no shampoo/body wash which was unexpected. Otherwise a perfect experience!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the CrabaCabana. It’s about a seven minute walk to the beach and everything was as listed. Kim also provided great suggestions for things to do in the area. She’s an excellent host and took care of anything that needed her attention promptly with perfect communication. We definitely would recommend it to anyone wishing for a home away from home! ♥️
