The space was gorgeous, clean, and the perfect size for two people. The property is very nice, quiet, and clean. Honestly, the worst part about this experience was dealing with Carolina Shores as a company. They were very unorganized and didn’t communicate well. Even though we booked through AirBnB, they asked us to sign a separate lease. This would have been fine if this was made clear on the listing and if their lease had matched the information listed on AirBnB’s listing. They for some reason did not have my name correct (despite having correct contact info?) and when I pointed this out on our lease, they told me to just mark it out and update it. When we showed up in Duck for check in, they still had the incorrect name and we had issues checking in. Luckily we ended up sorting it out, but safe to say that I was not impressed by Carolina Shores. You have a TON of options to choose from renting on the island, weigh your options before booking with them.

Had a great stay at the Captain’s Quarters. It was perfect for a family of four.

Beautiful place in a great location. The beach was a short walk away and there were many restaurants and things to do very near.

Barrier Island Station never disappoints, and Mathew’s unit had everything we were looking for. Very clean and spacious and close to everything! Great host that did a great job making sure I had no questions about his place. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

I enjoyed my stay at this residence, especially looking at the Sound from the window and walking to the pier to take pictures of the nearby osprey nest. The place was clean and had what I needed so I could cook on most days. The condo is in a quiet complex, in a nice residential area. I liked that it was on the first floor so I didn’t have to lug my belongings up a bunch of stairs. The place is well set up for families, with a lot of beach toys and equipment in the garage. I would return again if I found myself coming back to OBX.

What a great location! We could walk everywhere we needed to go and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the rental, the pictures do not do it justice! We would definitely rent this property again in the future.

Just as described! Very short walk to the beach at maybe 400 yards. Area was very quiet and no issues with neighbors. Spacious parking in the carport. The home was very clean. The style of the home was outdated, but it was a great place to lay our heads. We were delayed getting in home by an hour due to the cleaning. Home was clean, but the cleaning smell was very strong. Everything was furnished that we needed, no issues finding anything. It would have been nice to know that the home had a grill outside the carport.

The place was perfect for what we needed. Someplace quiet, clean, and walking distance to the beach. Since it was our first time staying in a condo, we weren’t positive if we would like it, but the place was squeaky clean and the vaulted ceilings made it feel so spacious! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in a perfect location. The house was clean with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of games for rainy days. Gabriel was a great host allowing for flexibility in our plans during a tropical storm. The pool area is fantastic with private cabanas and poolside service from the Salty Rim- which has excellent tacos and margaritas! The unit is conveniently located by a public beach access with bathrooms and picnic tables. The house was fully stocked with beach items- chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, wagon, cooler and toys! 10/10 would stay here again!

Had a great stay at Cassandra's place. Everything matched the description and we had everything we need for a good week in Corrola. location is awesome, we walked to the beach, a very nice local park and you can see the lighthouse when you walk out the front door. Also a few restaurants and some shopping just a block away. would definitely stay here again.

This place is so stinking cute!! The host was very respectful and responsive to all of my questions! My girls and I were looking for a nice quiet and relaxing place to spend my bachelorette weekend, and this was the perfect place! Super close to the beach and walking distance from the light house and a cute historic town. 10/10 recommend!! I will definitely be booking again!

Simply Amazing! We had such a wonderful stay and loved every bit of it. First the location is amazing. We loved being able to walk right next door to multiple restaurants and our horse tour. The lighthouse and park are right across the street. We even walked to the beer garden just a few minutes down the road. The community the townhome is in is super cute, has a wonderful pool and is right at the beach. There were plenty of dog waste stations which made walking the pup easy. The dog park wasn’t much, but it served its purpose for me of being able to let the pup off leash in a gated area to do his business. The house itself was beautiful. We made use of the large dining table which was perfect for game night. The deck was a nice place to have your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail in the sun while waiting for everyone to get ready. I loved the balcony off the primary room and being able to open the door at night to get a nice breeze. We will be back!

Overall the stay was nice, finding the condo was not as easy but granted we did come late at night which made finding the place harder. Lynn was very nice and walked us to the condo. The condo was beautiful, clean, spacious and the hot tub was the best feature. They also had beach gear in the garage which was a nice addition. They have an outside area with solar powered lights and an outdoor shower. They also have a guest book that guests can sign which made the stay memorable. Laundry room was nice with modern appliances and plenty of beach towels.

Great location. Great communication. 5 minute walk to the beach and stopped by the Salty Rim (Mexican place) for a margarita after the beach. The full size deck was great for meals. With us of the garage we were able to have both cars with us. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs, one with its own bath. A jack and jill bath connects the other two rooms. Worked out really well for our group!

My family of four had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in the Outer Banks! The location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk to the beach, and close to activities for the kids and nearby restaurants. The home was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My kiddos loved the bunk beds! I loved the peaceful vibe of the neighborhood too — it felt like a perfect beach retreat. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, beachside stay in OBX!

Wonderful host, easy to communicate and get in touch with. You get a lot for the money here, condo was clean, had everything we needed, the pool/recreations area was such a bonus, we loved it!! The area around is filled with lots of restaurants, shops, sights, and of course the beach! Wonder time in OBX!! Thank you so much!! Would gladly stay again!

Beautiful home and very spacious. Lynn was very helpful and came very late at night to help us with a lock box issue. Very close to the beach and had lots of beach items provided

Ryan was a great host. He provided great details and was quick to answer any and all questions. The easy access to the outdoor pool and indoor water park made the trip a breeze. The beach was a short 5 minute drive and had private parking less than a block from beach. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean. Kitty Hawk was a great location to be able to get to the other Outer Banks towns as well. We had a great time!

This was a great spot with super convenient private beach access, while also being close to restaurants and shops in Duck.

Paul and Scot's home was as-advertised if not nicer than the pictures indicated. They were very responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. Their home was very clean which we very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying at Vitamin Sea.

Really beautiful location, the view was wonderful and we ate all our meals outside on the deck. Can hear the waves crashing at all times from inside the condo. It had everything we needed—really well stocked kitchen. It’s got an authentic and nostalgic beach feel. We really felt comfortable here and it was perfect for our little family. Beach access and pool access were so convenient, which makes a world of difference traveling with a toddler to the beach! We usually stay in a beach house and were curious about whether there would be more noise, but it was quiet and peaceful here! We would stay again.
