Rock Face Lodge, Custer SD

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Brooke was very responsive to questions. The house was right off the main street and easy to find. The house was neat, clean and beautifully decorated with decorations relevant to the area. The house was in a great location for all of the Black Hills attractions. The hot tub was a bonus and very enjoyable on the cool evenings. Brooke even provided the smaller ammenities in the house. The house was a great value, and I would highly recommend staying there.

NEW Updated Custer Farmhouse 2 blocks from Main St

My daughters and I had a wonderful time in Custer, and Lindsey's place was the perfect touchdown spot. We rode horses, went hiking, and enjoyed the local restaurants. Returning home to the comfortable and well stocked AirBNB was relaxing and refreshing.

Dwntwn Custer Farmhouse on Main St. with Hot Tub

JamesRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We really enjoyed or stay at Sarah's Airbnb. Everything you need is within walking distance, which was quite enjoyable. Although, it is on the edge of downtown, we had no issue with road noise, which was nice relative to the location. There is a grocery store across the street, so it was easy to walk over and buy food to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. The Pizza Mill restaurant was also across the street and there pizzas were outstanding. I would highly recommend this impendent and locally owned business. We also walked a block to breakfast one morning and ate at the Our Place restaurant. This locally owned breakfast diner was also a gem and had a wonderful hometown atmosphere. Further down the main street were several other shops and places to eat. The only negative issue with Sarah's pace was the narrow, steep, and winding stairwell to the second floor. None of our group over 50 felt comfortable staying upstairs. All and all a good stay.

French Creek Farm

NathanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
If you’re looking for a private getaway that’s still close to the big attractions in the Black Hills, this is the place. It’s totally private and the home is very spacious. The deck is awesome with a great view of the valley. The kitchen is massive and the best stocked I’ve seen. The house has plenty of games and activities for all ages. We were very impressed overall and would absolutely stay again. It was clean and the level of communication was awesome. If you’re reading this, stop scrolling and book this place; you won’t regret it!

Next to Custer State Park. Quiet & Serene. 6 rooms

AlliyaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Our family enjoyed a fantastic weekend at The Brown House. We loved the location close to Custer State Park and also an easy drive to a grocery store. It surroundings were peaceful with a beautiful view over a meadow that had horses and deer. The house provided so many spaces for gathering both inside and out. We are already planning our return trip next year.

Tranquil Trailside 3bed, 2 bath on peaceful 2acre

GenevieveRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What an amazing stay at this cabin! It was very clean and fully stocked! I wanted to address some of the other concerns others have mentioned in previous posts that I was concerned about. We had NO issues with the internet, in fact there is even a WiFi booster in one of the rooms. We had six devices connected without issue. There is also a lovely grocery store in town with everything you would need for groceries! Our family would highly recommend this Airbnb!

Buffalo Ridge Cabin

AndreaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Such lovely hosts!! A beautiful property and perfect for the few days we were there to see Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore. They gave good recommendations and were very thoughtful and helpful. Beautiful camp/resort property tucked away from the road. For those of you that like to exercise, there is a running trail just across the street and the local YMCA is close by and does day passes.

Needles Nest: Secluded Cabin | Hot Tub

BuckleyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We visited the Needle Highway, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. It was very close to these attractions. We saw wild turkeys and a marmot which we thought were beautiful in the yard. The place was very clean and spacious. The hot tub worked great. It was the best Airbnb we have ever been too.

Cabin in the woods

KendallRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a fantastic stay. From the initial booking through check-out, Cindy and Stoney were fantastic hosts. The property is peaceful and we (myself, my wife, and our pup) felt right at home in the cozy cabin. Cindy and Stoney were very accommodating hosts and their dog buddy quickly became one of our pups best friends. We did a lot of hiking including Black Elk Peak, Cathedral Spires, Flume Trail, Palmer Canyon, Hell Canyon, Stockade Lake, and Sylvan Lake. All trails were anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour from the property which is pretty typical when traveling in the mountains. There were also trails located on the property which were fantastic as the property is connected to the National Forest. We downloaded the offline map from Google maps, marked the gate, and wandered all over the place for miles and miles. Cindy and Stoney are great people and to top it off are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. When we visit again, this is where we will stay!

Evergreen Lodge - A true Black Hills Experience

KathleenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Diane was a fabulous host. The house was perfect for our family vacation where we had ages from 83 to 4! The kids had a wonderful spot in the lower level, and my parents didn’t have to navigate stairs. The location was perfect as a home base and we easily got to Jewel Cave, Custer State Park, The Needles, the Badlands, Deadwood and of course Mount Rushmore. Custer, Keystone and Hill City were close for food & shopping. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was clean. The multiple living areas made it easy for all ages to find a spot to relax and either read or watch whatever they wanted to watch on TV. We highly recommend the property and we are thankful to have had such a great place to stay for our South Dakota adventure!

Ponderosa Cabin | Blue Bell Lodge

SaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay! We rented this cabin as a homebase for our immediate family during our wedding weekend. Everyone spoke so highly of the cabin! The cabin was immaculately clean. One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The ladies at the Blue Bell Lodge were very helpful with check-in. The location is beautiful. I recommend watching the sunset from the top of the hill behind the cabin :) We saw lots of wildlife and even had a few turkeys pecking on the back doors in the morning. Such a beautiful location and the kids loved playing outback. So much privacy out there. We had everything we needed and it was so nice that each room was private. We had five different families staying in the cabin and there was plenty of space for all. I highly recommend the Ponderosa cabin and all that Blue Bell has to offer.
