The Rockland Woods Lodge was originally built in 1973 and a 2018 rustic-modern remodel freshened up its charm. A relaxing 60-min Ferry Ride from Seattle gets you to a quiet, densely wooded 20-acre property overlooking Mission Lake and the Olympic Mtns. Biannually, we host 10-20 Artists-in-Residence at the property without charge. To support this primary mission, we rent to small groups for retreats, reunions, workshops, and weddings. Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Our cozy country retreat is a 700 sq ft, 1 king bed, 1 bathroom house above a garage on 5 acres at the foothills of the Olympic Mountains. Enjoy beautiful views of the mountain valley and wildlife sighting from the deck or hot tub. 15 minutes to Sequim, 35 minutes to Port Angeles, and 40 minutes to Port Townsend. So close to these towns but a world away. The entrance staircase has 13 steps. No cell reception for most carriers but we have strong starlink wifi.
