Castle holiday rentals in Danube River

We had a lovely stay at Eli & Pier’s. Given its strategic location of the castle it boasted an impressive 360 degree view down below and was beautiful inside and out. I’d highly recommend this stay for something different and a place where you can truely relax

We had an amazing stay at a truly unique castle. The host was extremely friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Our two daughters had a wonderful time, and so did we. The location was perfect—easy to reach all the nearby towns by car, and there were excellent restaurants within walking distance. This place is one of the most special we've ever visited, and we highly recommends

If i could give 20 stars, it would not be enough to state what this Torre Riva is all about! Peaceful, private, quiet, ancient, historic! Perhaps the most remarkable place we've stayed! The village below is quiet, the townspeople are friendly. The entire area is a picture. You will feel history. Mario is an absolute genius with how to send the baggage up. The renovations that he continued with, the woodwork! The way up, is only the best part...get in shape. The village is worth the walk within all the alleys. A picture at every step. Unbeatable location, literally 2 minutes walk from the subway station, 7 minutes walk to the Duomo. Meanwhile it’s super quiet once you come inside. The apartment is spacious, functional and comfortable. Highly recommended for families

Stayed a week in this beautiful castle. The building and the pool were perfect in hot Italy in August. Would have loved to know more about the history of the place too.

Perfect place for the location. Andrea was very accommodating. It is definitely an older building, but everything was in working order and easy to use. It is very clean and is exactly what you see in the listing.

We had a very nice time in the beautiful villa, surrounded by the nature of Tuscany. Gemma welcomed us in a very friendly way and informed us about the special features of the historic house. Washing machine and dishwasher are available. There are enough utensils in the kitchen to cook reasonably. There are 4 bathrooms, 2 with showers. Not luxurious, but hygienic. The rooms are large, in general the house is very spacious. The beds could be replaced, but not bad either. Mosquito nets would be great so that you can ventilate better in the evening in the particularly hot season. The pool is well maintained and offers the perfect cooling off. The common areas are large. Pool table and pool table and pool gave us a lot of joy. Surroundings: Florence, Sienna and Bologna are easily accessible by car for a day trip. Nice, challenging hiking routes are close by. The Bahia Bar is worth a visit. Time went by quickly. Thanks for the wonderful time!

This is truly a very special place. Was able to have a small family get together in the spacious apartment in an incredible setting. We were able to also sit outside and use the fireplace and grill while enjoying the view Truly a memorable experience

my husband and i travel quite a bit in the alps every year, it was our dream to stay in a castle and it was the perfect to place to make that dream come true. historic, beautiful with all the modern comforts we needed for some rest and relaxation. we plan on coming back and recommending it to all our friends. it’s a perfect stop on the way to walenstadt from italy. it’s the perfect, peaceful place with a great bathtub and kitchen. they even provide espresso & a nice welcome bottle of prosecco. the hosts are super helpful, friendly & respond quickly with any questions. this rental is a real gem

Our family enjoyed a short stay at the castle in Thiene. The rooms we stayed in were beautiful, clean and unique. The surrounding gardens and town are charming. The host, Francesca, was very helpful and accommodating and added extra touches like fresh flowers in the rooms. Recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at “the castle.” The communal kitchen led to a few nice conversations with other guests and the farm store downstairs (with delicious raw milk!) was a total highlight for the kids and us. We’re sure to recommend and will be back!

Tamas’ apartment is an elegant and thoughtful space with everything you need to enjoy Budapest. It’s within a stroll of Déryné , the best splurge restaurant we know, and whose bill we paid with great satisfaction. (They also have a great bakery The apartment is in a very quiet building within a couple of minutes’ walk from many parks, as well as buses and trams that will get you anywhere in the city and outskirts very efficiently, and which are free even for non-EU citizens if you’re over 65. No need for a ticket at all. (Just carry your passport or driver’s license to prove your age if challenged.) Also note that the Airport Express bus 100E gets you to a bus stop downtown which is a 10 minute bus ride from the apartment— and it’s also free for seniors. One more tip: we didn’t take city tour until we’d been in Budapest for a week. We wished we’d taken it on our first day, as there’s so much to learn that will enrich your visit. This is a great place to stay. Book it if you can

Great place for some peace and quiet. The bus stop or river boat to Venice are directly in front if you don't want to drive.

It was a wonderful stay with fresh eggs and milk. The entire host family is very friendly and accommodating. Old listed castle lovingly modernized and renovated. Very recommended.

The accommodation is simple, however, the friendliness of the town, views and uniqueness of staying in a castle were fabulous. Ludmila was a friendly and helpful host and we had a lovely comfortable stay. We recommend highly.

Lovely place!!! They immediately catapulted into an atmosphere in the medieval era. Reproduction of the living spaces, the cuisine and the restaurant that was very faithful at the time of choice. Great kitchen with a very meticulous eye to products that could be found or not in the Middle Ages. Young , active, super friendly and helpful staff, we immediately made friends. There is also a visit to the castle included in the price and we had the opportunity to take a very interesting tour inside. Highly recommended for a relaxing day, good food and great company in a medieval castle, with spectacular views. Very spacious, comfortable room with strong medieval accent, super comfortable bed with canopy . A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, for the welcome and for the hard work they do every day to make customers feel like they are at home. We hope to be back soon !!

Really nice place! Fun and unique experience for those like us who have children, space to play, games available, characteristic setting. Property equipped with all comforts immersed in the Piacentine hills. Very kind and helpful owners. Highly recommended.

We arrived at this castle and did not believe that our apartment was in there so much the place was wonderful. Recommended for those who love tranquility and nature. Tyrol is an exceptional area for hiking in the woods both on foot and by bike. THE HOST is very kind and helpful, we had a nice vacation and slept peacefully because there is absolute silence there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Very nice, peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Half an hour drive to Fiss, Ladis, Serfaus, one hour drive to Lech, 45min to St. Anton, perfect for skiers. A very good ski equipment room with heated ski boot rack, drying your boots overnight. Lovely, helpful hostess.

We spent a wonderfully varied week at the end of August in the Salzkammergut. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and it was an experience for all of us (family with 3 children aged 11, 14 and 17) to stay, enjoy and roam around Wimsbach Castle. Adrian is a great host who was also personally on site and had many tips for us. We recommend a stay as a definitely exceptional and unique experience!

It was clean when we arrived and we could easily get in through the key safe. Had very pleasant contact the next day with the staff at the reception about the sauna for the next day. Restaurant 20 meters away with delicious food and a supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Good quality beds and shower. All in all great
