Bookbinder's Retreat is small self-contained studio, situated adjacent to the main house. Whilst in the town, the property has a rural outlook over the Public Gardens, and a secluded feel. I have enjoyed creating the space on a small budget over a long time. Travellers seem to appreciate the craftsman like quirkiness of the space which reflects the town.

A 5 minute drive to the town centre, our house is warm, private, & modern with some of the best views in Oamaru! It has a fully equipped kitchen & an expansive deck where you can enjoy the ocean views. It’s warm, heated by a heat pump in the living area with extra heaters in the bedrooms. There is a pull out bed for the extra, 5th person if required. We offer free, unlimited high speed internet & all you need for a stay in Oamaru. Highlands on Homestead a stone’s throw from town.

Spacious, comfortable and modern 1 bedroom unit with ensuite. A 2nd DETACHED room as an additional bedroom is available (see photo, fees apply) The cottage is equipped with microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and basic utensils to prepare a simple meal. Private, delightful garden & decks facing the sun. Outdoor seating provided. Your well behaved, house trained dog is welcome to stay. Lakeside is a beautiful idyllic property close to the centre of town. The exceptional, accommodation comfortably hosts 7 with 3 queen and 1 single bed. Fully equipped in a modern style, rated a 9.6 on Booking .com. Totally private, set in park like surroundings that make the perfect setting for a wedding! Plenty of room for a marquee or Teepee. Guests can wander the gardens, walk down to the lake and sit on the boardwalk to take in the scenery, wildlife and glorious sunsets.

This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Breakfast cereals provided . You will love it. A pleasant garden and views top it all off....while being handy to town.
