Το παραδοσιακό αυτό σπίτι των 200 περίπου χρόνων βρίσκεται στο χωριό Πολιανή της Μεσσηνίας σε ύψος 680 μέτρων στην αγκαλιά του Ταϋγέτου. Το χωριό είναι περιτριγυρισμένο απο κατάφυτες βουνοκορφές καθώς απλωνεται μέσα σε έναν εύφορο κάμπο γεμάτο μηλιές,καρυδιές και σιτηρά που τον διασχίζουν δυό ποταμοί. Ιστορικά η Πολιανή έχει καταγεγραμμένους μέχρι και σήμερα πάνω από 45 βυζαντινούς ναούς ενώ σώζεται από τη Βυζαντινή περίοδο ο ναός Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου με αξιόλογες τοιχογραφίες του 12ου αιώνα.

Traditional three-storey tower house in Karytaina. Reconstructed with great care by the hosts with authentic wooden elements and traditional touches in the decoration. The house is in a very quiet area of the village overlooking the bridge of Alfios and the plateau of Megalopolis. It has 2 fireplaces, a spacious living room and high-ceilinged bedrooms. At the entrance there is a courtyard with shade from a large walnut tree and vines.

Agroktima Farm Cottage

Situated at the foot of Mount Parnon, Agroktima guesthouse is surrounded by a lush green garden and consists of ten farm houses, samples of the Tsakonian architecture. Unprocessed stone, wood and iron have been harmoniously put together, creating a unique setting. Ζήστε σε ένα παραμυθένιο περιβάλλον γεμάτο χρώματα και καλλιτεχνική αύρα,το χώρο ενός συντηρητή έργων τέχνης. Ο χώρος είναι ενιαίος η κρεβατοκάμαρα χωρίζεται δημιουργικά με κουρτίνες και βιβλιοθήκη και η σοφίτα εχει δύο στρωματα διπλό και μονό,στο σαλόνι υπάρχει ωραίο λειτουργικο τζακι και σόμπα!

Αυτός ο μοναδικός χώρος έχει το δικό του στιλ. Εγώ κι ο σύζυγός μου, μετά από 9 χρόνια εμπειρίας, έχοντας το Traditional Guesthouse, αποφασίσαμε το 2025, από μονοι μας, να ανακαινισουμε και να δώσουμε ξανά ζωη σ' ένα παλιό πετρινο σπίτι που ήταν ακριβώς δίπλα μας.
