Coco's place is the most beautiful heritage listed house. The bed was a very comfortable pillow top mattress, with also lots of bed pillows. When we arrived the (fake) wood fire was, lit warming the room and giving it a lovely cosy feel. There was also a tiny fridge in the bedroom, stocked with water. Lots of lovely touches, shower shoes, bathrobes, extra blankets, a full range of toiletries in the ensuite private bathroom. Breakfast room was fully stocked with cereals, milk, juice, yoghurt etc. Guest Fridge available for anything one needed to keep cold. Nothing was too much trouble! We cannot recommend this place more highly, if you are travelling from Hobart south stop and enjoy.

Hamlet Downs Country Hideaway

We enjoyed our time at Hamlet Downs country cottage. Lovely rustic home with sunrise views from the lounge room window and a pleasant morning walk to the farm dam to spot a platypus. It had everything we needed and we really appreciated the catering available, very tasty, compliments to the chef! It’s a peaceful location and an easy drive to Maydena and Mt Field. We’d happily stay again.

Such a lovely house, very modern and cozy! The showers are great and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed staying by the wood fire in the evening, walking around the beautiful property and to the lake nearby. Jenny was always very helpful and provided lots of recommendations about things to do around. Definitely recommend this place to stay for a beautiful and relaxing experience!
