It was dark upon arrival and having not used Airbnb in a while, it felt awkward to knock on the front door of a private residence. Mary Ann answered the knock. I asked if this was an Airbnb house and she replied yes. She thought my check-in was the next day. She was prepared, though, and all went super smooth thereafter. It is a quiet neighborhood and close to where I worked during the days. The Des Moines area is fantastic. The Des Moines Creek walking path is amazing! Wally's Chowderhouse is amazing! And Des Moines is the origin of the "Men in Black" story (google "The Maury Island Incident"). Mary Ann was a great host and it is in a great location.

This was a terrific place to stay near the Seattle airport!! Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and snacks and coffee were provided. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!
