Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Detroit River

Perfect place for us to stay while we checked out the Ford Museum and a Tiger's game. Parking right next to the front door which was convenient. Three big bedrooms. Dorothy is super friendly and communicated very well. She even had homemade muffins waiting for us. Great place, highly recommend!

My stay at the Rock House was incredible -- absolutely one of the most unique, spotless, adorned, and beautiful homes I've had the fortune to stay in. Tamela was proactively helpful, gracious, and curates a comprehensively equipped space -- everything you could hope for in an Airbnb host! I appreciated all of the touches that made my stay seamless, as well as the very comfortable beds. The location is also very peaceful, historic, and walkable. 10/10 stay; do yourself a favor and stay at the Rock House whenever you find yourself in the greater Detroit area!

This was a wonderful place and stay - super spacious, clean, and had everything that we need. Kevin was super communicative and proactive, and made sure that our stay in Detroit was comfortable.

Driving up, the location was a little sketchy, however walking in, it was like walking into a whole new world. The house is absolutely beautiful! The bathrooms were amazing. My favorite part was the large dining room table! Decorated so nicely. I really loved the house. If we are in this area again we would absolutely stay here!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house was a great location- walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Its very spacious and had everything! Christopher was very responsive and helpful!! Would recommend if you’re visiting Windsor!

The most beautiful and peaceful location on a corner lot with the lake on one side and beach on other. Close to lots of touristy places and wineries.

Had a great stay at Kathy's place! The unit was as pictured and described, and it was very clean with lots of thoughtful touches for guests. The shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. My only advice is to make sure you read the description of the place because it is a basement unit and quite a lot of noise can be heard from above. It was easy to get to and a straightforward walk to places to eat (10-15 minutes) and the U of M campus (~25 minutes). I would stay there again on a visit to Ann Arbor.

This was my first Airbnb stay and it was great. The stairs are super steep, that’s my only concern because of my bad knee, but I’d still stay there again. The unit was very clean, organized and all the furniture was very comfortable. The location was great, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The host was helpful and quickly responded. My flight was delayed almost 6 hours and he made sure the front light was on for me. 😊

Fantastic experience booking here! Ariel is very sweet and responsive, she gave us good local restaurants to check out during our stay and she was extremely accommodating and flexible with last minute changes to our reservations. Place looked exactly like the photos! Inside was very clean and cute and had a ton of space. It’s a lovely gem tucked away and close to cool spots like restaurants and a yoga place. Would stay again 100%!

Marco was a great host and we loved the space. It was exactly what we were looking for and can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

Absolutely amazing location for what I needed and the place was super clean and excatly what was listed. However, the rental above had some extremely loud kids and a crying toddler. I didn't say anything to Sierra though because we were already packing up and getting ready to leave but I could see how this could be very annoying to someone who is there long term especially since this was from 7am-10am. I also found that there was no full length mirror but its definitely not needed unless you're looking for improvements :) overall, this was a good stay, very clean, easy to find and check in. Would stay again if I ever needed to. Thanks !

Great apartment, but brutal neighbor noise. Children running around and screaming until midnight both nights we stayed. Walls do a pretty poor job of keeping the noise out, unfortunately. Thats no fault of the owner though, who has a great space in a great location. We loved how close we were to the fantastic greenway that led right into Corktown.

We had the most wonderful time and we felt treated like royalty. Susan welcomed us to a kitchen full of goodies (fancy ones) and Christmas stockings! We already miss her place, everything was perfect! Thank you, Susan and Charlotte!

I highly recommend this house. I spent a week there and found it to be very peaceful, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. I’d also like to highlight how incredible Blessing is—attentive, kind, and always ready to help throughout my stay.

We enjoyed staying at Joe’s place for the weekend. It was walkable to the volleyball tournament we were playing and it was nice to hangout in the hot tub after a long day! Everything was very clean and very cute decorations for a lake house.

A great location for our trip to visit family in Grosse Pointe. We had a lovely stay, and will stay here again if we can.

It was our second time staying at Ian's place, we had a great time once again! Easy to find and in a nice and safe neighborhood. The small appartments make it easy to have privacy even when travelling as a group. Highly recommend!

This place absolutely perfect! Zoha and Samina went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. I felt like I was at home. So close to all the places like food, mall, restaurants. The most important thing I loved is the garden, so so pretty and so much work put into it, nature is my favorite so I truly appreciate it, the view from my window was so so beautiful. The place was truly amazing, everything was so easy. Hosts let check out a little later cause I started work later in the evening and that was so sweet of them. If you want private, peaceful, homey neighborhood this one’s for you. They literally have everything you need. Both Zoha and Samina are so kind and thoughtful, cannot recommend it enough. Definitely coming back!!! Thank you so such a wonderful hospitality!

My family and I had a great experience at Chad’s! From the start Chad was nothing but helpful and easy to communicate with. His home was exactly as described; well maintained and beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.
