I absolutely loved my stay here! The house was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen that made it easy to cook at home. The large garden was a real bonus—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The neighborhood was super quiet, yet just a 2-minute walk to grocery stores and restaurants—truly an unbeatable location. The home had so much character and charm, and as a Miamian, it made me feel completely at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a bit of local flavor!

On a five day Civil War trip to visit sites associated with the last 9 months of the war. Just very special to stay in the Wallace House because of its association with Lincoln and Grant. You can almost feel the history. Very convenient to the Petersburg National Battlefield from City Point to Five Forks. Very pleasant drive to Appomattox. The town of Petersburg and the house itself, because of continuing renovation, need a little TLC, but all-in-all, a very memorable stay. We had a little difficulty entering the house as we missed the entry pad and tried to gain entrance by the lock box on the rear door - totally our fault!!

Debbie allowed us to film a documentary interview in her space and was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout the process. She even met up with us to show us an alternative space for filming. On top of that, her place was super cozy! Would definitely rent from her again.

Thank you so much to Rachel and Tommy who were such wonderful hosts. They made us feel like family and were so accommodating with anything we needed. For instance, I asked Rachel for pictures of her pets and she sent them to me after we had checked out. We would definitely stay her again if we need to in the future.

The home is very historic and the rooms are beautifully decorated to match to match the era of the home. Theresa is very easy to communicate with, as we had some schedule changes that went very smoothly. Rooms are upstairs, quiet, and clean. Common areas downstairs are best for dog lovers! 😀

Highly highly highly recommend here! Room is super clean and bed is super comfortable. You got all amenities you need(water boiler, coffee maker, variety of tea selection in the room, then you can also use refrigerator microwave and anything in kitchen as long as you clean up). We received a warm welcome when checking in. And when a car problem happened to us, they even offered to drive us to the tow car when we cannot get the Uber here. I could say hundreds more nice words here, thank you both so much and I highly recommend staying here

This is the third time we've stayed in Kim's home so it feels like home away from home. The home is well-appointed and spacious but cozy. The location is very convenient for us and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Kim is a very gracious and responsive host. We plan on staying again when we travel to the Petersburg area.

Jenn and Bill were wonderful and made me feel like family. The home has a cozy vibe in the country. Next time I come down, I'll be staying with them again.

Carlissa’s place was the perfect overnight stay for us on our road trip. The place is very clean with all of the required accommodations. Great spot close to the convention center! The Korean spot on the corner is excellent! It’s kind of a tight spot for 4 people, but doable and everything was just as described!

Beautiful little neighborhood with some local spots to walk to. The apartment's modern decor is great, and everything is well maintained.

This stay was exceptional, the hosts were extremely proactive about everything that I didn't need to bother them about a thing. The space is comfortable and peak Richmond. Located at a part of town with almost too many good restaurants to check out. Can't recommend enough.

Great stay while visiting our daughter! Very comfortable. Location was lovely, and very walkable to restaurants, markets, cafes. The fenced in grassy area with a deck was perfect for enjoying a drink and letting our pups enjoy some freedom!
