A small charming cottage between two breezes.

Stay in a small red cottage with white buns on an old valley courtyard in the beautiful village of Hedby. The cottage consists of 2 rooms and kitchen as well as a small bathroom. The house is fully equipped and adapted for 2 people. There is a small room with a bed of 160cm as well as 2 sofas that you can sleep on if you remove the pillows and put on a thin mattress then they will be 80cm. They are not retractable. Sheets are available for rent. Outside, there is a small paved private patio with garden furniture where you can hear the stream. The house is bounded by the host people between two creeks. The cottage is close to hiking trails, bike trails as well as small swimming lakes.

Large selection of sights and tourist attractions in the area. 7 min drive to the station and 3 min walk to bus.

Ta en paus och varva ner i byns före detta lanthandel. Här bor du i lantlig miljö, på en avskild naturtomt med pergola och en liten å på baksidan av huset, och grannhus och byväg på entresidan. Nedervåningen är obebodd, men brukas sporadiskt av ägaren. Via egen ingång till en mindre hall och trappa når du övervåningen som hyrs ut i sin helhet. Utgång till balkong i ena sovrummet, varifrån du har utsikt över trädgården med ån. Lägenheten har ett fullutrustat kök och håller god standard.

Incredibly cozy accommodation. Quiet and secluded with beautiful views but still excellent location for day trips to Rättvik/Falun/Leksand. We received a very friendly welcome and the whole stay felt easy and comfortable. We would gladly come back :)

It's a great place to stay! Ulrika and P-O are so friendly and helpful. I have stayed here for 6 weeks and it has been so great. I have felt at home thanks to Ulrika and P-O. It is a very nice surroundings and the cabin is so nice. You live quietly and secluded. While it's close to Borlänge. By car you can easily get to wonderful nature outside Borlänge if you want to hike a little longer.

The lake cottage

A cozy cabin for our stay that was skiing to Romme Alpin. Enough distance by car about 20 minutes. We were never you to Borlänge but otherwise good distance in there for shopping and more. Someone had written earlier review that it was a little outsiders,maybe far from shop and restaurants but were other houses / cabins nearby so completely alone you are not when you are there. Cozy kitchen with all kinds of accessories to cook dinners. A small mistake just when we arrived at the cabin relatively during the evening and it was -16 g outside but it was probably not the host's fault but the guests before us who turned off all the heat even though the host was there and sat on so didn't really have time to heat up the cabin. And when we arrived it was pretty cold. But otherwise full marks for our stay and purpose. Would absolutely recommend and we will come back next time we are going and skiing to Romme.
