An extraordinary place, up medieval spiral staircase to accommodation at the top of the turret. Amazing location in the heart of old Sarlat- lively atmosphere but quiet inside the accommodation.

Cozy, functional and ideally located accommodation for visiting the region, we were very well received.

Fabulous accommodation in the very heart of Sarlat, just steps from the Cathedral and central square. Accommodation was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, with free parking easy to access. Via a short walk. We stayed at Frederic’s place for a week. The central location allowed us to travel easily to many of the highlights in the area returning in the evening to this delightful apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience and would highly recommend choosing this Air B if visiting the Dordogne region.

Isabelle & Frank are wonderful hosts who communicated really well and were very friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable to be in. The kitchen is well set up with everything you need. We loved this gorgeous place and a beautiful medieval town.

A beautiful, characterful apartment, which could not be in a more convenient situation, up a quiet street right in the centre of the beautiful town of Sarlat. The house retains charming original features, while having the most modern bathrooms, and a well-fitted, spacious kitchen. The terrace, surrounded by roses and vines, with a view of the cathedral opposite, is a delightful addition to the amenities. We spent a wonderful few days here, and could not recommend it highly enough!

We had a pleasant stay at Julien's place. It's an apartment with beautiful decor and very well located. Julien was a welcoming, available host who was able to give us good advice on activities and visits to do.

This townhouse was spectacular! Everything was modern, updated and the layout was great- especially for an extended stay. The location was really important to us. You could walk to the historic center of Sarlat with all of the restaurants and shopping in under 5 minutes but the townhouse was in a quiet area with parking. It also was really accessible to major roads when we traveled outside of Sarlat to visit the beautiful countryside. Absolutely loved this AirBNB.

The appartment in the heart of Sarlat is spacious with a comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen and small balcony with view of the city. Enclosed parking and washing machine are a plus. Independent checkin / checkout and easy, fast communication with Ludovic.

We enjoyed our trip to Sarlat very much, and were here for a week with three young kids (6, 4, 1). Overall: this Airbnb is very centrally located and great to explore Sarlat. Apartment is clean, the best part is the terrace hands down. Biggest downside is the parking situation which is a 10-15 min walk (but this is Sarlat, you want parking you need to stay on the outskirts). Would not recommend with small children under three (see below). Pros: Very clean, the terrace is amazing. Bedrooms comfortable enough. Cons: No elevator (wasn’t a big deal to us but may be for some). Parking situation was a nightmare for us, it’s a lot to drag 3 kids 15-20 minutes uphill. For families: do not recommend. We have a 1 yr old. Tv in the middle with wires unmounted. All glassware in sliding cabinet in the island. Breakables everywhere. Plant in the middle. Tripping hazard on the kitchen making it hard for tall people to cook. Really would advise against if you have littles, but otherwise great!

Lovely location, beautiful views on the main square, tastefully furnished, great TV options. An exceptional place, I highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay at Marc and Allison’s place in Sarlat! Right in the heart of town and if you’re lucky to hit a market day just walk out the front door and it is at your feet. We felt comfortable and right at home. We hope to come back one day! Thank you!

Perfect central ground floor apartment. Comfy and clean. Thank you to Laure for helping us with the tv as we didn’t know how to work it. Bergerac is a lovely place to visit. Would love to come back again. Next time I need to brush up on my French as most of the locals don’t speak English. Or let’s say, they would rather you speak French. And why not.

You like noise and pollution. You don't like birds and the jacuzzi. You don't like people who smile and are welcoming. So don't come to Florence. We'll go back, that's for sure

Excellent stay in this beautiful accommodation and in this magnificent region. The apartment is located in the heart of old Sarlat and close to all amenities. We were charmed by this beautiful environment that we recommend.

Easy access with self check-in A caring and hyper-responsive host! The accommodation was very clean with all the amenities you could need A very well exposed terrace (south-southwest) is very pleasant with its jacuzzi without overlooking I recommend it!!

We had a great week in Gilles and Thierry's cottage! Very welcoming and available, their sense of service is impeccable. It was a first for us in the region and they provide very good advice and share good addresses, in order to perfect our stay! The cottage is very well thought out, functional and tastefully decorated. A real little corner of paradise, a few minutes walk from the center of Sarlat and with a beautiful view of the valley for a total change of scenery. The jacuzzi is a real plus to relax and fully enjoy your vacation. We recommend this stay at Gilles and Thierry's both for the charm of the accommodation and for the kindness and sense of service of their hosts! Very nice little studio, well arranged and equipped. The place was clean, tidy. The jacuzzi is very nice, you feel good in this accommodation, I highly recommend it for a stop in Brive!
