Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Downtown Los Angeles

Overall a great stay! A quiet neighborhood with lots of personality. I would be wary of traveling around at night, however. You will need a car to get around since there isn’t much public transportation around.

Amazing stay, would definitely come back. A very peaceful experience and cozy and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Host was incredibly responsive and everything went seamlessly, stress free checkin, checkout, and parking. Thank you so much ✨️✨️🌈

We had a great stay at this home! The location is excellent — everything we needed was close by, and having SoFi Stadium just down the street made getting to a game super convenient. The house itself was very clean, well-stocked with amenities, and felt comfortable and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the host was friendly and responsive to any questions we had. We drove in from El Paso to visit family, and this spot ended up being the perfect home base. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

This is our second stay at Brian’s place, this time for a few weeks. The view and peaceful outdoors is spectacular and lush, and it was easy to feel at home in the cozy living spaces. Brian was again an awesome communicator and super kind!

Patricia’s house is clean, quiet and the location is convenient to both the Dodgers stadium and rose bowl stadium, hope I could come back and stay longer next time!

Cozy and comfortable place. Matched the photos. I had to adjust my arrival date and Maxime took a little longer to respond once. Every interaction was very quick and helpful. The instructions, videos and photos were spot on so follow them precisely. The apartment was very clean and airy. I love to cook and was very happy with the utensils and cooking pans. There was even seasoning available to use. There was a Whole Foods a 10 mins walk away. The neighborhood is on the rebound and I didn’t feel unsafe. You can drive or walk around. I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely surpassed any expectations. What a little Hollywood treasure. Great modern space with top level appliances . Equipped and ready for a spontaneous traveler. I’ve never seen an Airbnb so prepared. Only bring your toothbrush . Excellent brief stay, felt like a home.

Maggie was an exceptional host. Any thing that we needed or if anything happened she was one phone call away. The location was awesome and perfectly described. We loved our entire experience and we would most definitely stay at this location again.

Stefania was an excellent host. Always helpful and responsive. When we arrived we were tired, it was late, and we had some trouble finding the building. If I had printed out her instructions it would have been a breeze. Felt safe and the unit is centrally located. Both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Loved the spacious patio! I recommend using the parking inside the building garage. The street parking is free but fills up quickly. Overall, a nice choice.

It's my first time booking an Airbnb and I think I did a great job choosing Tina's place. She was very welcoming, responsive and friendly. Everything was on point, from bathroom to kitchen essentials, she got you. I had to leave on a short notice than planned but she didn't give me a hard time, she understood. I would definitely recommend and book her anytime I need a vacation in DTLA. P.S ; ITS SUPER SAFE.

My sister and I come to LA every summer. This was a great place to stay. Echo park- stone’s throw from silver lake. Amazing walks. Pete’s cabin was cool and quiet. Just what we needed.

Finding a rental in this area of Los Angeles is very rare. It’s near where my daughter and her family live so we could walk there every day without having to hire an Uber or Lyft. Plus the area is quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again.

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!
