Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. The gravel road in front of our property adds to the rural atmosphere guests will experience in the quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel. Our resident pet chickens may just produce a freerange egg for our visitors!! The Theron family are well traveled and love to welcome visitors to our home. We encourage you to engage with us and our animals or just relax among the trees!!

The main property is on a dirt road, overlooks a farm dam and magnificent mountain views. The cottage is private, quiet and set in a lovely tranquil bird-filled garden. It is so close to town, that you can walk anywhere. Retreat to the quiet garden cottage after a day of shopping, eating and exploring.
