It can serve as a base for walking or driving to the many pictureque villages and beaches of this mountain. The house includes a garden with shady trees, also cherries and apricots in their season, and is only two minutes away from a mini market, restaurant, pharmacie and the wonderful square. Fully equipped and provided with maps and books about the region.

Pelion country cottage at Kissos Village

Kissos is a small beautiful and picturesque village, surrounded by dense vegetation, which is located 52km from Volos through Portaria , at an altitude of 660m. You can also arrive to Kissos by cutting a road, through the new road that passes by the ski resort of Chania. There are many grocerys and restaurants around the village square (kissos), by car is about 1500m, and by pathway is about 350m from home There are many beautifull beaches at the footheels, and the nearest is about 6.5km

The house stands in the historic village of Portaria Pelion and it is about 500 m. from the central square. It's altitude is 630m., and has a spectacular view to Pagasitikos and the town of Volos. You can enjoy this view not only from the balcony but also inside the house. Furthermore the Ski Centre of Pelion is only 14km. far and the city of Volos 12km. Last but not least the beautiful beaches of Pelion are located in 31km. from Portaria.

Makrinitsa Alonia

In the traditional village of Makrinitsa, going uphill and walking 200m of paved road, you will find yourself in the fountain of Tsoni. Next to it is the fully renovated stone house that is ideal for spending moments of tranquility and relaxation while gazing at the panoramic view that is generously offered to you. The chalet was built in 1928 with local stone from Pelion and has a special architectural design and was recently completely renovated (2016). The view is impressive and the interior of the house boasts the romance of another era with all modern-day comforts. The property has two floors and a garden (1000 sqm).
