The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee you can sleep in, have been preserved. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower at an additional cost, you can relax wonderfully.

Het Twadde Hûske is a cozy, colorful and comfortable apartment (with air conditioning) that can be booked for max. 5 people + possibly a baby. The Twadde Hûske has a soothing view over the meadows, located on a private road, with a nice terrace equipped with lounge chairs and a picnic table. Equipped with air conditioning (for heating and cooling) and underfloor heating. It is, in my humble opinion (+ that of the many guests), the most complete Airbnb you can find. Experience an atmospheric and luxurious stay in the heart of Drenthe in our beautiful Reestdal Loft. With a beautiful landscape with forests, meadows and a stork's nest right next to your home, this is an unforgettable experience. In the beautiful garden surrounded by nature, you will completely relax. The characteristic Reestdal loft has all the comforts, including a wonderful hot tub. This house can be rented on a weekly, midweek and weekend basis, and is located on hiking and biking routes.

Thor Heste Guesthouse

Our guest house with original old elements, is located in Gees in a centuries-old sheepfold that belongs to our farm from 1748. It is a double guest room with living area and kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. Through the garden doors you have access to the private terrace. Directly from the accommodation there are plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities in the beautiful nature around Gees. A walk through the centuries-old village with its Saxon farms is also recommended.

A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

Our cottage is situated right on the border of National Park 'Dwingelderveld'. Imagine yourself watching out over the meadows. Gazing at the star lit sky at night while enjoying a bonfire. Or spend a lovely evening inside in front of the fireplace. The cottage was recently renovated and fitted with all the amenities you could wish for. It has a fenced of spacious garden. We do not offer breakfast service, your kitchen is fully equipped to take care of your inner self!
