Cottage holiday rentals in Durdle Door

Debbie’s place is a little piece of paradise, the setting is stunning, the gardens are fantastic and the cottage is warm and cosy whilst also being spacious and really well laid out. We had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The open plan kitchen into the cosy living room left us all feeling connected, utility space was really useful, conservatory with stunning views allowed us to dine together and relax during the day. Outside area is also stunning for meals on the patio and bbq’s and the hot tub was great to relax in on an evening looking at the stars in peace and tranquility.. there’s a slight walk up to the property across a field but once you’re in the cottage and its gardens it’s worth every step. Great for the dogs too. Loads to do in the area, our highlight was Lyme Regis beach.. many thanks to Debbie and everyone who made us feel so welcome. We would go back to Debbie’s place in a heartbeat!

This was our second stay at The Old Piggery, and again we absolutely loved it. It’s such a beautiful location. Grant is really helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at Ruth's stunning cottage. Ruth was a fantastic host, always on hand to answer my many questions (sorry Ruth😅) to walking in to find a lovely hamper. She also had mapped out some walk trails and supplied books / leaflets for local amenities. Cannot fault anything! We loved the hot tub and such a lovely enclosed garden so our dog was free to run around at his own leisure. It felt like a home away from home as we were able to use Ruth's BBQ too! Thanks for having us Ruth!

Fantastic stay at a beautiful location in the New Forest. The hosts were really welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful with local recommendations, the property is lovely, and all the animals were a big bonus for the kids. Highly recommended and we’d love to return.

We had a lovely few days, lots of room in the house, hot tub and games room a bonus, along with the deer in the garden yesterday morning! Many thanks for the welcome pack and milk.

Had a wonderful two days at The Bothy. Such a beautiful spot and the cottage I think looks even better in real life - and it looks pretty wonderful in the photos! We felt right at home straight away- Chrissy had left some welcome staples which was appreciated and there is everything you need for a truly lovely stay. We made use of the hot tub which was fab and it’s in a very peaceful but convenient location to explore the New Forest. Come - we hope to go back soon.

We had a really lovely stay here this week. The garden is beautiful, so peaceful and we even saw a woodpecker hopping around the grass one afternoon. Our daughter adored the trampoline and climbing frame, we also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each day after exploring. We did day trips to Lyme Regis, Beer and Forde Abbey & Gardens. A perfect, peaceful spot to spend a few days, thank you.

A homely and clean accomodation on beautiful settings on a farm, reminding us of memories of staying on farms in our childhood. Approximatley 30 mins from Weymouth where we carried out our bucket list - a visit to Durdle Door by boat, attendning the festival, swimming in the sea, going on the big wheel, eating delicious meals and relaxing in beautiful harbour settings. And where we could return from our days out to relax in our wonderful accomodation, sit in the garden, with a barley field backed on to us, listen to the cows in nearby fields and relax in the hot tub! Spending time together away from the hustle and bustle of life. Our host Jane made us feel very welcome, providing us with helpful information and was at the end of a phone or text if we needed any additional help. Thank you Jane - we made precious memories during our stay

We had a lovely few days staying in Templecombe. The cottage is very comfortable with a cosy living room, well equipped kitchen and two good-sized bedrooms with really comfy duvets! Our only regret is we didn't get to use the fireplace in the living room as the weather was so nice! James was really accommodating and friendly, and gave us some great recommendations for things to do with our two small children. We loved visiting Stourhead and had a delicious Sunday lunch at the beautiful Story Pig farm. A lovely break!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully decorated and in a great location. We appreciated the parking location as Weymouth has a lot of parking restrictions. Everything we could possibly need was provided. My usual bag of kitchen supplies was brought back home unused! A lot of thought has gone into this house. if we visit weymouth again we would definitely stay here without hesitation. Thankyou Mark & Sylvie

We knew the cottage as we have stayed there before. As always it was clean, tidy and comfortable. Charlotte was very helpful when we had to change our booking and generally kept us well informed. The Cove Inn, which is a couple of minute's walk away along the sea wall, seems to have upped it's game and the food is really excellent. It is also a good spot to enjoy a drink whilst watching the sun set over the sea. Within easy walking distance are a cafe on the sea wall, a cafe that only does Sunday brunch, another pub, a pizza van and a very good fish and chip shop. Thanks again Charlotte!

We felt immediately comfortable and were very impressed by what was provided and the standard of furnishing and fixtures. Julie had gone the extra mile in what she provided. There was a wealth of information both about how things worked and possible attractions in the vicinity. Since ours was a visit for a family occasion we didn't have time to sample many other places around but would do so in future. Though not a problem for us, it might be noted for future visitors that the bathroom is downstairs and the second bedroom accessible using a rather slack rope hand 'rail'. This posed us no problems at all and added to the charm. Altogether a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the pretty little village of Worth Matravers. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The cottage was cosy, well equipped and in a beautiful location within walking distance of the Jurassic Coast. Thank you Diana and Dave for a wonderful stay, we would love to return!

This cottage was perfect for our stay full of character and with a garden to sit in Claire was a lovely host and met us on arrival there was wine and milk in the fridge just what we needed would highly recommend this place for a holiday

Mike’s place was a good value and very cute for our 2 nights in Lyme Regis. The location was lovely. The babbling river was lovely at night. Note the parking is nearby up a very steep hill and is paid. We enjoyed walking everywhere in the city. We had very nice food. The bed and pillows were not terribly comfortable but the flat met our needs.

We stayed at the cottage in June. It is a lovely house with great furnisihngs and facilities. Helen was very helpful letting us know when we could check in and out. Portland is very interesting with amazing views and scenery. We walked round the island on the coast path and the landscape is breathtaking. We would highly recommend Helen's property.

Stayed for 4 nights at The Bothy- it’s a lovely home, very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, including beach towels, nice bedding and had basics like oil, vinegar, tea and coffee. The pool was a real bonus as we had good weather and used it every day- it’s lovely and warm. The area is quiet and very peaceful, lovely walks and costal views. You can walk to The Haven, great food- fish finger sandwich is epic, and into Lymington along the sea wall or down country lanes in the daytime, takes 20 minutes or so. A car is fairly essential here due to the quiet location. Sarah was an excellent host and was always on hand for any queries. I can highly recommend this place and we hope to stay again.

This was a multi generation family holiday at half term. It was priced as you would expect for school holidays. The location is fantastic and the views are amazing. Chesil Beach is a couple of minutes walk down the road. It is hilly but easily accessible for people with no mobility problems. It was home from home with everything you needed for a very comfortable stay whether you cooked some meals there or accessed the local cafe or pubs. The parking was clearly explained and although we never managed to park immediately by the cottage we weren’t more than a few minutes walk away. We were able to offload the luggage and had a supermarket delivery without any issues. Clare gave us some lovely recommendations for things to do and where to go for meals with children. All in all a fabulous place to spend some time in a lovely location which was a pleasure to experience.

This was the perfect place to stay. Everything you needed in such a cozy space. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen had all the essentials. Joanna was really helpful and we needed anything. The location is just a short walk from the town centre so really ideally placed. Would happily stay again!

Lovely home in the heart of Corfe Castle. Cosy; great base to explore old Harry rocks, durdle door etc.

Blackbird cottage is a lovely, quaint place to stay. We found it while looking for a base near Mapperton House as we were attending a wedding there. Susan sent through clear instructions on check in, a great online guide with useful information and gave us directions to a play park for our young children. The cottage was clean with really nice sized bedrooms. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
