Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Durham

I stayed at this apartment for 3 months for a travel assignment. The place offers a great amount of room and privacy. The host was very good and responds to your needs in a timely manner. There were some issues on the outside that were resolved to make my stay better! The area is pretty quiet for the most part depending on the time of day. Overall good experience!

Was an amazing place, so clean and well maintained. Host was very hospitable. Would definitely recommend this place to others, and stay again if I am visiting the area.

Stayed one night last week and three nights this week. Book it! It’s exactly as it appears in the pictures. Building feels safe at any hour and there is a parking lot 2 short blocks away for $15 per 24 hours. But there’s always evening parking on the block. Great food all around. Try out Rain just up the block. Rodney is proactive, responsive, and determined to provide a wonderful experience.

Great studio along one of the nice residential blocks off of Lark St. I come to Albany often for work and compared to the prices of the hotels, this is much more affordable and allowed me the comfort of staying in a comfortable space. Seemed like a relatively new apartment complex, and had a small gym.

Great place to stay. Rodney was very quick to respond to any question. Very comfortable bed and clean unit. Will look to stay here again when I’m back in town.

Zainab was an AMAZING host, very hospitable and welcoming! Zainab was proactive in anticipating my needs, and their response time was phenomenal! The room was comfy, looked just like the pictures, matched the description and had all I needed for my stay. I totally recommend staying here if Albany is on your list, I can’t wait to visit again and look forward to staying at Zainab’s air bnb!

We worked through a bit of calendar scheduling snafu quickly. Scott was accommodating, proactive, and responsive. The condo was in a great location, maintained well, and clean. We very much enjoyed our quick weekend getaway. Thank you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a truly wonderful stay at Hunter Manor in West Kill! The house is peaceful, beautifully located, and incredibly cozy — it was the perfect Catskills retreat. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and just as described (if not better!). The host went above and beyond — not only were they warm and welcoming, but they also offered a generous long-term rate and were extremely responsive throughout our stay, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. You can really feel the care that’s gone into the space — from the thoughtful details to how comfortable it felt to settle in. We also appreciated how quiet and scenic the area was — a true escape from busy everyday life. We’d absolutely recommend Hunter Manor to anyone visiting the Catskills and would love to return in the future. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

My group loved our stay at Alan and Cara’s place for the Sheep & Wool festival. Great space for a large group; we especially loved how comfortable the living room couches were and how there was space for everyone there to gather. The place was immaculately clean. We’d love to come back again!

Awesome property for a weekend getaway from the city. Sonny made this place into a fun playground - the pond is amazing, the hot tub, sauna, and back deck felt like a spa, and we enjoyed the fire pit and taking a short hike to the creek. The house itself is simple but has everything you need and we even managed to order Uber eats once from Kingston. The area is great, and we enjoyed the villages and a nice hike in the area. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay with extended family to celebrate our son’s college graduation. The house was spotless and comfortable and easily accommodated a large group from college-age through grandparents. We enjoyed board games at the extra long dining table, coffee by the fireplace and playing pool in the large lower level. Chris provided plenty of local recommendations in advance, which were very helpful. Overall a fabulous trip!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

Our stay at Max’s house in Jewett, NY was nothing short of perfect for our group of 11 family members (plus one very happy dog!). The house was spacious and welcoming, with a fantastic kitchen and a large dining room that fit everyone comfortably for our big meals. We loved making s’mores together at the outdoor firepit and enjoyed cozying up by the indoor fireplace every evening. The hot tub was an absolute favorite. On top of it all, Max was a gracious and responsive host, even coming by personally to troubleshoot the dishwasher when it acted up. We’d gladly stay here again!
