The place was a beautiful cottage, very well decorated and extremely clean! The place had everything you could ever need and Ryan and Bryan were extremely quick to respond and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again!

The house was very clean, bright and cozy with all the amenities necessary for a great stay. Short distance to all the stores and restaurants, as well as two Provincial Parks. Would highly recommend this place to those visiting/exploring Huntsville.

This place was a great size for our group of 10 and had a very spacious and comfortable main room where we could all gather to eat, play games and relax. The sauna is a nice feature as well. The kitchen was very well equipped. Kersti and her co-hosts were very responsive, accomodating and helpful.

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Art’s place is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s a big property with lots of space. The waterfront was pristine with clear water and no weeds. The interior has plenty of space to play games, enjoy the view and simply just relax. We would love to spend an entire week there the next time if Art would welcome us back.

We had a wonderful stay with my family and two dogs. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the peaceful, quiet surroundings and being close to nature—it made for such a relaxing getaway. Our dogs also enjoyed exploring the area. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable stay!

Mary and John's place is a perfect place to stay in Wilberforce. The house is in walking distance to the grocery store or visit Agnews The General Store right across the road. The house has so much space inside and out you won't be tripping over one another. It is clean and has everything you need to enjoy a weekend or longer with the whole family. If you get the chance to meet Mary and John they are the sweetest people to talk to. Always there to help with whatever you may need. Would definitely continue to come back for many years to come.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful cottage to celebrate my brother’s 50th birthday with our family. Everything about the experience was amazing—from the cozy space to the peaceful surroundings that made for the perfect getaway. Kevin was very welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home! We would return in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at Mark and Betty's chalet. The place was quiet and clean. There was plenty of space for our two families, a beautiful deck space for enjoying a morning coffee, an indoor pool for the kids to use at the nearby resort (at a reasonable cost and only a 5 minute walk from the chalet) and plenty of hiking trails nearby. The hosts were responsive and offered helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. We especially enjoyed Mark and Betty's art collection, the many klompen (for the Dutch in us!) and the giant pileated woodpecker that would visit the birdfeed in the morning.

We had a fantastic stay. Beds were extremely comfortable and the location was peaceful and private. The pool had a lot of dirt and rocks in it but the kids still enjoyed it. There was apparently a heater but it wasn’t on or wasn’t working because the pool was absolutely freezing but again the kids didn’t mind it. Couches were very comfy, although could have used more seating in the TV room. Hot tub was perfect. There was an issue with it before we arrived but the host had it fixed before we arrived and we just had to wait until the next day for it to be ready to use. The home was very clean but a few things were broken or run down. None of that impacted the quality of the stay though - we still had a great time. The location was private. The lake/dock is across the road but it’s a small and not busy road. My 5 year old had an absolute blast on the trampoline and in the playroom. Thanks for the great stay!

We stayed at the Marmora Retreat this past weekend with 16 girls and could not have had a better time! The property is beautiful, including a large deck with tons of space to play games and chill in the nice weather. Despite it raining for half of our weekend, the house's layout provided a lot of space for us to play games, relax, cook, and enjoy each other's company. The beds were super comfortable, and we all departed feeling refreshed after a weekend full of laughs. We are already talking about returning for another weekend during the summer to take advantage of the pool! We highly recommend the Marmora Retreat, and thank you so much, Brendan, for providing a space for all of us to get together comfortably!

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

Amazing place ! Very clean! This place is private and peaceful! My dog enjoyed running out in the back! We enjoyed the pool! Kunal was responsive to anything we needed or had questions about. Will definitely be staying here again!

We had the best time at this lovely place. Deborah and Ross are amazing hosts and incredibly kind people. Thank you for everything :) the place is also super clean and feels like home! If you are bothered by bugs, don’t miss out to visit the lovely little store ‘zebra with a different stripe’ to get some great all natural bug spray!

We had an unforgettable 2 night stay at the hideaway! Super cozy and homey cottage with beautiful views in a very serene and peaceful area. A true winter wonderland. The space was very rustic and charming. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals and the dining area very well laid out next to it. The living room was extremely cozy and relaxing to hang out in, especially with a lit fire. Getting there was easy, parking was easy, checking in and out, a breeze. Both Sarah and Matt were very responsive, kind and accessible hosts. We’d definitely book with the again and stay at their cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! Claudia’s home is warm, welcoming, and had everything we needed — plus thoughtful extras for us, which we really appreciated. The space was clean, spacious, and cozy, with plenty of room to relax. Being pet-friendly was a huge bonus for us (there is an additional pet cleaning fee, which is good to know ahead of time), and it was clear that Claudia had gone out of her way to make pets feel at home too. We loved spending time on the water using the kayaks and canoe, and enjoyed cozying up by the fire both nights of our stay. The neighbors were also very friendly, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. We’d absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway — especially if you're traveling with a dog!

Me and my Boyfriend had a lovely time at Mike and Rosa's cabin! It was an amazing experience as they even left us little personalised gifts for our anniversary. The cabin is beautiful and the lake is even prettier! We saw a beaver, loon and herons on the lake and enjoyed their beautiful waterfront firepit.

This was a lovely spot. As recommended, we had our AWD vehicles to get into the unpaved roads. (Future guests, please do not think this is optional.) the house is very new and clean. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. I particularly enjoyed drinking my morning coffee looking out the big glass doors. My father happily sat outside where the bugs didn't seem to bother him. (In all fairness, I'm a wimp in that department, which is a shame because the porch was lovely.) I was grateful to have a spot where I could bring my dog. (F.y.i. dog owners : the floor is slippery. This isn't a criticism, just something to be aware of). I received quick responses to my questions leading up to our visit and upon arrival. I also appreciated the coffee and beer they left us. Cheers!

Karm was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped — every little detail was thought of and well-organized. The property itself is fantastic, overlooking a stunning lake, and the cottage is tastefully designed with a modern touch. We especially enjoyed our morning coffees on the set up floating dock, complete with Muskoka chairs — a perfect way to start the day! There's also plenty of outdoor equipment available for those who enjoy being out on the water. Highly recommended!

Khristel was very accommodating with our late check out and she was very fast with her responses. The place is such an amazing getaway peaceful location. Everything we needed was provided and stocked accordingly. I would definitely recommend and stay longer next time .

A beautiful, clean, and peaceful cabin! Sarah thought of everything. We had everything we needed for the weekend and more. We arrived after dark, and the cabin was very easy to find thanks to the well-maintained road and driveway. One of the best surprises was the bathroom, just a few steps behind the cabin. It was spotless, odor-free, and the Cinderella toilet was a total A+. Honestly, one of the cleanest outdoor bathrooms we’ve seen. If you’re looking for total seclusion, this may not be the most remote spot as you can see the main house from the cabin. However, the setting by a quiet stream and surrounded by woods still made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Downtown Haliburton is conveniently close for grabbing food or checking out local cafes. Between rain showers, we explored nearby trails, and during the rain, we cozied up by the fire with our books. Pure relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall, this is easily one of our favorite cabins we’ve stayed at during

We had the best week here. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen, everything in the cottage is clean and in good condition. We skied at Sir Sam’s and it’s within walking distance (for older children). Our younger kids enjoyed the games and large deck to play on. The cottage has everything but towels! Make sure to bring those with.
