Holiday rentals with a fireplace in East Albury

Our families had a lovely weekend away, a beautiful property with plenty of room for us all to either be together or have some space to ourselves. We appreciated the fireplace and bedroom heaters being on and keeping the rooms warm for our arrival, and found the beds super comfortable. The kids (and adults!) loved the garden and many books to browse, exploring the paths outside and admiring the views and well tended to plants. Plenty to do in the area, going into town, visiting Beechworth and Autumn really puts on a show. Overall, very happy with our visit and highly recommend. Thanks Renee!

Had a beautiful stay at The Glen. The autumn colours were stunning each window you looked out of. Cosy at night time, we enjoyed the open fire, as well as the outdoor fireplaces. Having the river in walking distance was a special treat. Perfect spot to relax, but to also use as a launchpad to the nearby areas of Rutherglen, Beechworth and Bright. Was a perfect escape.

We had a wonderful stay at Emma’s place! She was a great host—very thoughtful and responsive. Knowing the weather was rainy and cold, she turned the heater on before we arrived, which made us feel so welcome and comfortable right away. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. My children were especially thrilled to see the sheep grazing on the hills through the windows—such a peaceful and charming view. Thank you, Emma, for making our stay so enjoyable. We would love to come back again!

Marlo's cottage is an absolute gem. Nestled in the heart of historic Beechworth, it's a beautifully restored 19th century oasis with everything at your fingertips. Would definitely recommend!

Gary and Dot have created a lovely home for staying in. We all were very comfortable - along with our dog. The home was spotless and there were thoughtful additions for pups and humans! The area is beautiful to walk around and close to wineries and more. Gary provided a friendly welcome and orientation to the home. Despite some very cold weather we were cosy warm and comfy. We will be back!

We loved the authenticity and ambience of the cottage and the peaceful surrounds. For those who live a nice open wood fire this is a perfect spot. All close to beautiful sites, especially Yackandandah and Beechworth.

We stayed at Michelle's place in Mitta for a local event. It was neat, comfortable and spacious. Thanks for hosting us!

A great little place. Spotless and a great feel with a very private tidy back outside area and cosy and warm inside. Not at any point did we feel the need to dine out at night we just loved staying home having a quiet time and a wine while cooking.

Minette was a perfect host. The property was really beautiful and a perfect gateway for a wonderful family weekend. 15 mins drive from beautiful Lake Buffalo, <5mins from center of Myrtleford.

Have stayed here before and we were extremely happy, will be returning! Located on a private property with a great walk behind the villa. Very private, didn't see the host or other guests even though they were around. Check in/out was easy. The place was very well designed and fitted out. Personal touches like a gift voucher to a local restaurant and thoughtful ammenities topped off a great facility and location. Highly recommended.

It’s the second time we have stayed here, we loved it so much the first time! It’s peaceful, relaxing, cosy, has everything you need and close to everything you want. Host is helpful and responds promptly. Not sure we’d stay anywhere else☺️

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days at Panoramia Villas. Beautiful views, quiet, and the most comfortable beds. Very spacious and perfect for 2 couples. Would definitely return some day and stay longer.

Stunning, well designed home away from home! All the comforts of a luxury hotel combined with the space and warmth of your own flat. Location is perfect-just a3 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Easy bike ride to wineries and most can deliver your purchases back to the accommodation for you as it's so close to the main Street. Easy and fast responses from Michele and her team and we were especially grateful for the foodie tips so we could book before v we arrived. Thanks for a fantastic stay in Rutherglen!

We cannot fault our stay at Basq Next Door. The house was beautiful; clean, warm and cosy. We felt at home right away, and the place had everything you could possibly need. The house was so close to the main part of Rutherglen so we were never far from anything. Michele was always responsive and gave us some great recommendations for experiences in the area over the Easter weekend. The beds were the comfiest I’ve slept in. Michele was so accommodating too, even providing us with a high chair and a travel cot for one of our babies. Going away as a family group with babies can be tricky but Michele made it so comfortable and easy. Thank you so much for a lovely, relaxing time away. We will be back!

The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — everything was thoughtfully set up to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The views from the villa were truly stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset — a perfect backdrop to unwind. It felt private, peaceful, and connected to nature while still being just a short drive into town. The hosts were welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. I appreciated the attention to detail — from the high-quality linens to the well-equipped kitchen and cozy touches throughout. This was the perfect base for exploring the High Country, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, luxurious getaway with incredible scenery.

great spot, very close to everything and loads of space. better than a lot of the options available nearby which were mostly hotels or motels or the winery accommodation down the road - all looked cramped in comparison. Michelle was very proactive in recommending places to go and we felt very welcomed! Will stay here again next time we are in rutherglen
