Sue’s guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay if you are traveling to the San Diego area. The house is very clean. The house provides privacy and Sue is very responsive should you have any questions.

This was our second time staying here and it’s such a great little spot within walking distance to everything OB. We will always check to see if this place is available when visiting friend in San Diego. Everything is exactly as described and William gives clear instructions so it’s hard to imagine someone having an issue with check in, local info, etc.

Quite and peaceful location. Easy drop down from her hilltop location to the freeway. Clean and cute place. Great communication. Enjoyed my stay!

We had a wonderful time relaxing on the property. It was cozy, clean, and quiet. One of the best parts about the place was that it didn’t have a TV — we wound down with a drink and a book on the deck as the evening cooled off and the stars slowly lit up. It’s a great location if you want to visit wineries, but make sure you check their hours of operation as some are only open on the weekends.

Such a cute little cottage! I can’t wait to come back! … I LOVED it! — And the space was absolutely perfect for me on a solo trip. The location is right between the Bay and the Beach … only steps away from each. And the restaurants are nearby along with the market, shopping, running and biking trails, and everything is literally right there! The unit itself was cute as heck, with genuine hardwood floors, updated kitchen and updated bathroom, and A/C was very nice. The garage was very very tight, but thank God for having a designated garage space in that location. Otherwise the parking would have been impossible. I backed in a convertible Mustang in the that garage each night, but I recommend a smaller vehicle. The most important part of my stay was the comfort of the bed, and it was THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED ever!! I slept all night every night, which I never do. Like I said, I can’t want to come back and am already looking at dates!

Perfect beach bungalow for a weekend getaway! The bungalow is exactly as described, super charming, and just a great space to relax. Lots of natural light and the perfect cross-breeze. Even our dog enjoyed his stay! :)

My fiance and I had an amazing time at Lucas's magical off-grid oasis. Lucas was extremely helpful & responsive when we had any questions. Peaceful, secluded, exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was a lot of fun and really cool hiking nearby. If you're looking for a camping type vibe with a bit more amenities and a ton of privacy, this is your spot. Highly recommend and we would stay here again!

Spotless, proactive instructions when checking in, and extremely friendly and swift responses to our questions. Will be booking again the next time we go to San Diego!

We stayed at The Den for our anniversary week and it was amazing! Just the perfect size and extremely peaceful for some well needed rest from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Deb had all amenities necessary for an easy and comfortable stay and we enjoyed it so much we ended up extending our stay by a night which Elizabeth happily accommodated. Would recommend!!

Reasonable price for a last minute place to stay when the water went out at my own house. Be sure to put in the address given for GPS and not the street address. House was clean. A bit tricky stepping down onto the first step from the loft onto the ladder. House rocked a bit when someone walked around, but not a big issue. Very easy check-in. Happy with the stay!

Lana and Alex's cottage is a great place to get away from it all (literally!). It's a comfortable little cabin right near Palomar Mountain State Park (which is where I needed to go) and it was perfect for our stay.

Great place to stay! Within walking distance from everything you need or want to do. Mike was a great host! Introduced himself after we settled in and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again!

The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and had all the comforts of home — we genuinely didn’t feel like we were missing a thing. The location is peaceful and full of charm, with lush greenery and a relaxing pool area that made it feel like our own little paradise. Every detail, from the decor to the amenities, was thoughtfully curated to create a relaxing and cozy vibe. We truly loved our stay here and would absolutely come back again. The house is super cute and has everything you need. Its clean and in best shape. Checkin was easy. Although it is tiny. I didn't have this experience before but I liked it. It is a place to sleep not to live. And the backyard is perfect to read, eat or just chill. I appreciated it that some basics are provided like oil, spices, dish liquid, aluminium foil etc. Daniel is a great host. He answers quick and gave me good tips for my bike, swim and run training and whats going on in the near area. The house is 15-20mins away from Caelsbad and Oceanside. If you take the bike there is a perfect bike trail not far away down to the coast. The big supermarket brands are all just 5mins away. I enjoyed my 6 day stay very much

Kathi's casita is even more beautiful and comfortable than the photos depict. Extremely private and quiet, and located in a very walkable and safe neighborhood, this is a very good place to stay to sightsee in San Diego. Kathi's hospitality, friendliness, proactive instructions, and local recommendations made this stay even more wonderful than I could have imagined. My wife and I used to travel a lot on Airbnb when it first launched, and we've missed experiences like this — where it feels like a local is inviting you into their home and enriching your stay with their knowledge of the area and helpfulness. Thank you for a great stay, Kathi! We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful property to stay at and very relaxing. Hosts were accommodating; allowing us to pick right from the orchard, providing produce from animals where available (in this instance fresh eggs), and a package we needed to have delivered. Extra amenities with the outdoor bath, propane fire, and fresh beans for coffee. Excellent experience all around and had everything we needed for an extended weekend.

Stacy is a most excellent host. Her Casita is in a great location in Oceanside and is quiet but full of human life. My wife and I booked this spot as a long weekend beach getaway and we loved our experience. Just minutes from your selection of beaches and a short drive to downtown SD. The amenities are outstanding. There was even a crock pot! We found it very easy to feel at home. Would certainly stay here again and would recommend to anyone staying in the SD area.

This was a great staycation, and my only “complaint” is that I should have reserved it for 3 nights (instead of 2)! Jason’s communication style was clear and friendly from the start. His messages were well-timed and informative throughout the whole process. I also appreciate that Denise let me know right away after checking out that I had left a bag behind. They really go above and beyond to maintain a splendid space and make their guests feel welcome.

AMAZING experience! I could not encourage this place enough. No bathroom door just heads up but the porch makes it ok- just let whoever you’re with to check out the view and handle your business 🤣😂❤️. The host is incredible- you will have everything you need!
