Holiday rentals with beach access in East Macedonia and Thrace

Peaceful house. There is a wild beach 3min from the house with clean water. La scala beach is 500-600meters from the house. In the city center there are a lot of restaurants with good food. I recommend going with a car or taxi.

We had a lovely time. The house is right next to the beach. Dimitra is a very kind person, easy to communicate with. There is a beautiful terrace with a nice view. Everything is as described.

Marco's mother-in-law Sarra met us on arrival. She asked us to text her when we were an hour away. Then she sent a message 2 say that her husband had parked his car on the busy street to keep a parking space for us. That was wonderful! Sarra showed us round the apartment and gave us lots of info about the area/restaurants/ferries to Thassos etc. When we forgot that the key card needed to be in the slot for the electricity to work and messaged her about it she responded very quickly. She answered all our queries promptly. We loved the apartment. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable and the outside terrace was wonderful for relaxing on as well as for getting our clothes dried. Once we had moved the car it was impossible to get a space again in the street and we used the paying parking lot on the map which Marco had provided. It wasn't far to walk and cost only about €6 per day. We loved staying here and have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and Kavala to others.

Alexandros apartment is delightful. It is very artistically decorated and is very peaceful. The sea view deck has very comfortable lounge chairs and is a great place to relax and enjoy the sea air. The beach, restaurants and stores are all within walking distance. Alexandros was always available online and was very helpful and responsive. His father Philipo was on site and was very helpful as well. Philipo is an extremely kind and generous person. He brought us lush bunches of freshly picked grapes and other wonderful food during. We had a very relaxing stay in Alexandros apartment and highly recommend it.

Marina is a wonderful, kind, and attentive host. The apartment was amazing; we stayed there for 6 days with four people (two adults and two children), and everything was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. And what a stunning view from the terrace! We were very pleased and highly recommend it! The apartment is very close to the sea. We will definitely come back again. Thank you!

Penelope and her mother's accommodation was as we wished. Very warm hosts, a great equipped apartment (especially the large, comfortable bed, the plenty of space in the bedroom closets for clothes and the kitchen) and a garden that our daughter loved to play in and where we barbecued very often. A bakery and a supermarket are within walking distance. Penelope was always quick to reach, super friendly and gave us great tips, including for restaurants. Her mother, who lives in the same building, has lovingly but unobtrusively taken care of us and is very child-friendly. A very clear recommendation, we enjoyed our time very much!!

It was a great stay. The place was perfect for 4 adults and 3 kids. The morning coffee with that amazing view on the balcony was great! The host was friendly and helpful, they responded very fast. We will strongly recommend to our family, friends and everyone! :)

Despina's parents, Anna and Giorgios, are wonderful hosts. As well as preparing the apartment perfectly for us, they also served us several delicious meals unexpectedly. The location is 2 minutes from an unspoilt beach, surrounded by rocky coastline perfect for snorkeling (we saw octopus, garfish, cuttlefish, painted comber, and grouper). We had an idyllic holiday, and hope to return next year!

The accommodation and the location are great. Clean and authentic place with a unique sea view. The house is located in the old town. Georgia is a very nice host and I highly recommend it! 😍😍😍

The appartment/studio was clean and had everything we needed: a bed, small kitchen, fridge, shower and small private balcony for breakfast. The host was very nice and even cleaned our trash out during our stay. Thassos is a beautiful island and this airbnb was located super close to the sea and many restaurants. Hotel Stefanos next door was a great place for a late drink with live music and karaoke nights! The bed was quite hard/firm but everything else was absolutely perfect!

The house was amazing, we had everything we needed and it is right to the beach. We communicated couple times with the host and she helped us with everything! I highly recommend the place! Thank you for having us! 🫶🏻

The place is amazing, and Anastasia is more than just a great host. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures—or even better. We stayed for 9 days with our two children (a baby and a toddler) and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The garden is incredible—so peaceful and relaxing. The location is perfect for exploring the island’s most beautiful beaches and interesting sights. We’d be happy to visit Thasos again and stay at Grandma’s House in the future.

We stayed here as a family for 6 nights. The owner of the house welcomed us very nicely, she is a very warm, helpful and friendly lady. It has a large garden with lots of greenery and fruit trees suitable for grilling, the house is clean, everything is provided, bed linen and towels are sufficient and very clean, the beds are perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. The sea and the sand are available Very nice, very suitable for children. I would like to thank the owner of the house for his helpfulness and warmth.

We had a great time at Nikos’ place. As a family of 4 with a baby, it was very convenient to have the beach at a walking distance. We were looking for a quiet family time and this was exactly it. Felt like home away from home with everything you need near by.

The place was beautiful and very clean. We were very satisfied with our stay—everything was thoughtfully arranged. Highly recommended!

The house was nicer and cleaner than the pictures. There was more than what should be in the house. Everything was thought of, from 2 bottles of water, soda, beer, pasta, to liquid oil in the refrigerator. He thought of everything from shampoo to shower gel and slippers in the bathroom. The treats were very nice and very sweet. Candy and chocolate were coming out from everywhere. The garden was beautiful and there were fruit trees. Most importantly, there was a parking lot to park our car in front of the house. In the morning, the door was knocked and when I opened it, he had a hot pie in his hand. I will never forget his gesture and smiling face. Thank you for everything.

Our host was very decent. The house was spotless and right in the city center. You can arrive everywhere on foot. If I come back, I will keep the same house. Thank you so much for everything.

I must say it's very nice appartment with everything needed for a stay in Kavala. Sparkling clean, modern and without clutter. The neighborhood is quiet and without any issues to park a car. So highly recommended.

This is our second time in this apartment. We felt very comfortable again. The apartment was very clean. It had a particularly comfortable bed. The balcony with the view is breathtaking. Every evening, sunsets as if made just for us. 😍 The apartment is located right on the beach. Fantastic! Our landlords were again very friendly and yet very reserved. In case of problems (we had wanted a grill), a solution was immediately found. 😊 We'll be back here a third time. Everything perfect!

The location of the house was great, the house was just as it was written and in the photos. Highly recommend for people staying in a pristine home. She greeted us, there was a treat, thank you, she was a wonderful person with a friendly face.
