The island is also home to a forest garden which makes it a true oasis for biodiversity!

A patio with barbecue allows you to eat outdoors. The private pool is on a non-adjacent but nearby plot: about 400 m, overlooking the valley. Open from June. Many activities are available nearby: hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, horseback riding, tennis, golf, farmers' markets, etc.

The beautifully restored gite lies in the heart of the country but is close to the lovely historic village of Verteuil, one of the prettiest in Charente, dominated by a magnificent chateau with restaurants, wine cellar, and a small Sunday market. Room "L 'Age" Deluxe Double or Single Bed

Our room of about 35m² are completely renovated in Charentais style with exposed stones and beams. All modern comforts: Furnished with double or single beds, a sitting area with TV, a small fridge, electric kettle, "Senseo" coffee machine, WiFi, Bluetooth speaker, a small garden furniture on the balcony with direct access to the bedroom. Let's not forget the bathroom also very spacious and equipped with a beautiful walk-in shower.
