Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Ella

We loved our stay at Dreamstay Ella. The place was amazing, we could see a waterfall from the balcony and several monkeys on the banana treas. Nishantha went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. He was always available and responsive. He was one of the best hosts we ever had! We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Great place and great welcome. Everything is simple in the rooms, there is nothing superfluous, clean and comfortable, and most importantly - a panoramic window, behind which there is a beautiful view of the valley and the 9 arch bridge. The owners are very friendly. For breakfast they serve their fruits, vegetables and delicious tea. It's just rubbish! Too bad we only stayed one night. I dream of returning again.

Very nice place. The room as in the photos, in front of the room hammocks and sun loungers, you can relax looking at the beautiful mountains. Ishari and her son Vaneesah are lovely, they are happy to tell you what to see. Vaneesaha picked us up from the station, gave us a great tour of Ella the next day, a day later he drove us to Udawalawe for a Safari, which he also arranged for us. Delicious breakfasts, great communication, and the best front desk guy-pee Bruno ❤️

Ajith and his family made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and the verandah and living areas were perfect for reading a book, playing cards or just taking in the stunning view! So peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here and make sure you try the Sri Lankan breakfast, it is delicious. We had a fabulous stay, thank you Ajith.

Very good place to stay, walking distance to city center, tasty brekfest and awesome view of the Mountains. Kapila is very good host and provided us with tuk tuk, as our driver could not get close, as there are some narrow streets for Bigger cars. Trully recommend staying in Kapila house and his family.

Our time at Namals guest house was the perfect stay in Ella. The views were incredible and his homemade breakfast on the terrace were something we’ll never forget. Really easy to access Ella town by foot also as it is a 10 min train ride. Cute balcony setting for recharging and a lovely kind family

A beautiful place to stay in the middle of nature. On the balcony you can enjoy the great views, watch the breathtaking nature and wildlife. All staff were always accommodating, helpful and super friendly. At breakfast you could choose from Sri Lankan or Western - both very delicious. The city and many sights are within walking distance. We enjoyed our time there very much & would always come back.

I had a great time at Namal's place and would definitely come back here when visiting Ella again. I can recommend it wholeheartedly, Namal is very friendly and welcoming, the room has many amenities and decoration is done with great care. Also, the view is fantastic. The typical Sri Lanka breakfast tastes good and is a well-sized portion for 2$. Ask Namal for recommendations for sightseeing and walk along the railroad tracks for easy access to the city :)

Comfortable room with beautiful view on the mountains. Very helpful host. Close to main road, shops and restaurants. About 15 minutes from Ella train station. Just be prepared to make 100 m walk up the hill to reach the house from main road.

This cottage is really great! It has got an excellent view, not only the landscape but also some details of the town are visible. You have your own cottage with the glass front on top of a rock. It is quiet, spotlessly clean and very modern. They provide a very good service with breakfast which is served on the terrace and the personnel can arrange for taxi, scooter/bike rentals and more.

Suminda was a wonderful host. The room was clean, and equipped as mentioned. Suminda was very hospitable. He made us feel very much at home with his services. The next time I visit Ella, it's definitely going to be here again.

This place has got amazing views over Ella and the hosts bring you breakfast to your balcony each morning. Would def recommend!

Very good place. Room clean and good. Breakfast from Nimalka is delicious ! View on Ella rock is amazing! And you just sitting near the room, having good breakfast, look at sunny peak of Ella rock and your mood are great ! They help us to have some ideas where and how to visit beautiful places, and help us to go to tissamahara (Nimalkas husband had a 2k 2k). After when we going to Tissa - her husband show us two very amazing waterfalls. This time was the best

Perhaps this is the best place where I stayed in Sri Lanka, I want to stay here)) the Owner is very hospitable, ready to help in every case. He gave us everything we needed and advised us where and how to go and where to buy. The house is new, very clean and beautiful, and very well located. From the main road you need to climb only 50 meters. It's quiet here, but you're in the middle of Ella. From the window we had a beautiful view of Adam's Peak.

It was truly a wordeful Stay at 27, Demodara, Spring valley Rd. Though the place was difficult to find but their hospitality compensated for everything. The place has all modern amenities, very beautiful. neat and clean. They have kept all the necessary cooking essentials. The house is very beautiful with great view from the top. Ishara and Sanoj both are great person. Sanoj was very easily approachabe. After we reached their place, Ishara was there to take care of everything. He is a great, very humble and cooperative person. He was always a call away. He served us great breakfast and also Keep on checking withs us wheather we want dinner to be arranged be him. He also helped aranging us a car to go to colombo. and also picked us up in his car when we were coming to his house on the checkin day. It was truly a wonderful experience at this place. Beautiful place, great views, excellent food and best person Ishara summarise this place.

Communication was really easy! They organised early check-in. The view was amazing.

Somewhat secluded but with a magnificent view. Rooms were nice and clean.

During the 3 days we stayed they treated us very well! Very friendly and helped us organize our adventures for Ella! The food there is very good and they do it all!! The place is beautiful, with huge beds and spectacular views! We would definitely do it again!!

The team will make sure you don't miss anything. Very friendly and welcoming, you can even have breakfast there for lunch and dinner. It is a busy road but that is to be expected in Ella! Definitely recommended!
