The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Emerald Acres Retreat

Take a walk, mountain bike, or cross country ski in the woods on the trails over our 40 acres. Read a book in the enclosed gazebo in the woods and watch the wildlife. Stargaze during your campfire and reconnect with nature. We are just minutes from beautiful New Richmond, Somerset, Clear Lake and Amery, WI. We are just a 30 min drive to Menomonie, Hudson, Wi and the magnificent Stillwater, MN. We offer a quiet, peaceful and wooded setting to rest after a great day of sightseeing in the area.

Oak Hill Retreat

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Flower Farm Glamping Getaway in Amish Country

Enjoy the experience of staying at an opperating flower farm in the midst of Amish country & nearby to some stunning sightseeing spots. Here you are surrounded by beautiful gardens, peaceful countryside, sounds of waterfowl & meeting (& possibly milking) our dwarf goats. Unwind, stroll through our flower fields and gather your own bouquet to enjoy (Mid Aug-Frost). Overlook the beautiful Chippewa River bottoms while enjoying the comfort of home. Just 2 minutes from Durand, this spacious property has remarkable sunrises and views of the Chippewa River area wildlife including deer, eagles, ducks and swans to name a few. Located in Pepin county, minutes away from Buffalo, Pierce and Dunn counties and trails. A perfect location for those in the area simply looking for a local place to stay and relax! Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. We also have a very nice campertrailer with 1 full sized bed, 1 queen sized bed. 2 bunks and bath that is avialable seasonaly.

Spacious Country Studio/Loft

Our spacious 900 sq. ft. studio/loft was once the art studio used by a local children’s book illustrator. You will notice some of her artwork and photos displayed throughout. The studio was designed with the intention of accommodating 2– 4 people. Our studio is beautiful, peaceful and private. Extra sanitizing practices are being taken for your safety.
