Holiday rentals with breakfast in Emmental District

Raya's place was terrific. I could not have been more convenient, located right on the river. It was a great spot to stay for Fasnacht! Additionally, Raya was a very responsive and thoughtful host and that made things easy for me.

Karin is an awesome person! She goes out of her way for her guests’ comfort and convenience. Me and my wife had a great experience. Highly recommended!

Expectations as previously described in Airbnb fully met. Friendly atmosphere and clean premises, breakfast was as expected, as previously offered on Airbnb. We cannot comment much more extensively, as during our week's stay from morning to evening we were out and about due to errands and visiting acquaintances, which was also the reason for our stay in Switzerland. The communication shortly in the morning after getting up at breakfast and in the evening after returning, together also enjoying a glass of wine and then retreating to the bedroom with integrated toilet and shower was very pleasant and exciting, as comparative interests by means of wanderlust to other geographical/topographical conditions as well as other cultures. In conclusion: thumbs up.

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

The room was very clean and cozy. The hosts were friendly, kind, and always ready to help. It's a quiet and beautiful location, perfect for a relaxing stay. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back!

With Autonavi and also via Google maps with the mobile phone, my colleague and I did not find the exact address of the accommodation. It kept leading us to a different street. It was very annoying for us, as it was already midnight. Fortunately, the husband was still awake when we called the accommodation directly and the husband kindly picked us up at the village square.

Great place to stay. Sarah made us feel right at home and was so accommodating with us and our 5 month old daughter. Would highly recommend.

Definitely worth to visit. Nice, calm area, with walking distance to the city center. In neighbourhood also you can find nice place to eat and drink. On place host offers breakfast with delicious coffee. Owner is very friendly guy. Recommendation without any doubts

Karin was extremely friendly and answered questions and the like in a flash. The apartment is clean and you have everything you need. Even more. Every day fresh rolls or bread were brought to us, there were fresh eggs, jam, butter, milk and coffee. There were even new toothbrushes in the bathroom! All in all, you can say that you could really feel the Swedish hospitality in the Schweden-Kafi and we would love to come back.

We were really very well hosted by Peter, his breakfasts - with brioche and homemade jams - were delicious, the apartment is functional, the beds very comfortable. Just note that there is no stove. Great stay, thanks Peter!

The space was new and nicely decorated. The view was great. The landlords are totally friendly and the breakfast offer is more than sufficient. We highly recommend the place, thank you for a great stay.

This is the perfect home away from home. I stayed for several months here, for an exchange semester. I was looking for the friendliest hosts in the area and Beat and Helena fit the bill. They are very reasonable and accommodating, eager to make sure you'll feel comfortable without any hint of fakeness. The place is very cute and looks better than the pictures. The area is quiet, the air is clean, the river is right next to the house so you can easily go for a swim whenever in the summer. When booking be mindful that it's a very old house and has it's quirks, like the floor is ever so slightly slanted and the internal walls aren't soundproof. None of it really ever bothered me, though. I'd gladly book again 😄 the experience could not have been better

If you want to stay right in the town the. You can’t get better than here. The B&B facilities are modern and the rooms are clean and as the photos. You walk out the door and are in the town. The cafe next door is really nice also.

Please read the instructions how to get there from the bus station, don’t do the same mistake as I did haha. Beautiful place and peaceful. The host is very attentive and calm. The view from the terrace is beautiful.

We were guests at Mäggy's for one night and felt very comfortable there. There are great information folders for the area in front of the rooms and a lot was also explained and shown. The rooms are well equipped, but we especially liked the outdoor area. A beautiful panorama and a great lounge invite you to sit back and enjoy the view. We would definitely recommend the accommodation and come back!

I had a truly enriching and memorable stay at Monique’s home. It was a great opportunity to experience Swiss culture firsthand. Both Monique and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful, and their entire family was warm and welcoming. The room and bathroom were spotless and well-equipped with everything I needed. The house itself is beautifully renovated, keeping its charming historical look while offering a stylish and elegant interior. The living room and common areas were cozy and tastefully decorated. The house is located in a peaceful little village surrounded by nature, with lovely walking and hiking paths nearby. One of the highlights of my stay was the authentic Swiss breakfast. Monique served fresh cheeses, local milk, and a traditional Swiss mix that included homegrown strawberries, brown sugar, and yogurt. It was a unique blend, possibly similar to Bircher Müesli, and absolutely delicious. She also offered fresh bread, homemade jam, butter, and coffee brewed in a Moka

Highly recommend staying with Ginger and Jan! It's just a short train ride away from the center of Berne, it's in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and most importantly, the hosts are wonderfully kind and friendly. They clearly have warm hearts and always wanted to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. It was like staying with family. The breakfast is amazing as well. The location was perfect for me—right near tram stops, grocery stores, and lots of restaurants. It’s also very close to the hospital I trained at for several months, which was a huge plus for me. The hosts are some of the nicest people I’ve met. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel like part of their family, yet still gave me the privacy I needed to relax. It's like staying in a home away from home. While you're living with them, you can enjoy your own space and rest without feeling crowded. One of the things I really loved was how they set up the bed and work area in different spaces. It might sound small, but having to climb a few stairs to get to my bed helped me draw a clear line between “work mode” and “rest mode.” It actually made me more productive during the day, and I slept so much better at night because of it. And the weekly cleaning with fresh sheets and towels? Such a nice touch. Honestly, I can’t say enough about how friendly and accommodating the hosts were!
