Such a beautiful and quiet place to stay in. The apt was absolutely charming, comfortable, and spacious! You also get a discount going up a gondola that's right next door! I think my only complaint is that the shower was a little claustrophobic. Could help if there's a glass door rather than a curtain. But other than that, it was an amazing stay!

We had a great time, quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is conveniently located for visiting Switzerland about 1 hour/1/30 from major destinations (Bern, Neuchâtel, Lausanne, Montreux). The hosts are very attentive and offer delicious products.

Evelin and Simon made as feel welcome and at home right when when we arrived. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay to come back to after a busy day exploring Switzerland. It was also very nice to see their little farm. The room was cozy and very clean. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Switzerland.

Words can't describe the beauty of the place I lived in, I would go back there again and again, it's worth every riyal I paid, I hope to return there, God willing, just to live there🩷

Looking for a quiet place to stay with that certain something, we finally spent New Year's Eve at Lamahof. Not only our dog Hope could enjoy the few days, far away from fireworks and firecrackers. My husband and I were also able to relax between wood-burning stoves, country house charm and many cheeky llamas and other farm animals. Thanks Karin and Family for the wonderful experience.

It was a super nice stay in the mountains. Quietly located, surrounded by nature. We were there by car and everything worked out and a parking space was also available. Here we really had the "Switzerland feeling"!

Very nice piece of land. Guest house is neat, with spacious kitchen and dining room. Plenty of outdoor space for children to play and occasionally watch cows. A warm welcome from the friendly hosts.

Wonderful area, wonderful hosts who were always on hand with advice and assistance. Very suitable for longer stays, everything is available. Whether you just want to relax or enjoy the area, both are possible in the area at any time and the hosts were always friendly, accommodating and easily accessible. I had a wonderful time of 3 months and would book this accommodation again at any time and recommend it to anyone.

It was a great time with the family. I find the accommodation very expensive. But nowadays everything is overpriced anyway. Still, a great location! Perfect for relaxation - Werner is a very nice person. He even gave us a whole bucket of eggs - thank you!

This airbnb was great. Had a perfect view of mountains, and was extremely clean. The last 10 minutes of the walk are more difficult, but the views made it completely worth it. I highly recommend this place if you don’t mind a little walk to get there. It was absolutely beautiful.

Absolutely amazing, peaceful stay at the chalet! Beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. Easy train ride up from lauterbrunnen and 5-10 min walk to chalet. Very cute and quaint!!

Marye's Farmhouse was a perfect stay. We were greeted by Marye, who explained the amenities thoroughly. The apartment was beautifully constructed and well decorated, it was spacious and clean - the mattress was so comfortable and the bathroom so neat! There were two balconies and the temps at the farmhouse were just right. We fully enjoyed our stay there and know you will too!

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

Roland and Martina were very helpful during our stay giving us nice recommendations and making us feel at ease. We appreciated the home immensely after a long day of navigating large crowds of tourists we wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful. Their home on the edge of Wengen was the perfect balance of far enough away to relax but close enough to pop into town for groceries or dinner. Bonus points for being a 2 minute walk to one of the best views of the Lauterbrunnen valley.

Kate was amazing! This is by far the nicest Airbnb our family of 4 have ever stayed in. It exceeded expectations. The location was great, only 10 minutes from Lucerne and so peaceful. Very close to grocery stores too. The space is lovely and the air conditioning is so welcome because it was hot! The beds are so comfortable that our first night after our flight was our most restful. The rooms are clean and modern but also homey and comfortable. Kate was very responsive and answered all our questions and gave great advice about the local sites. I would absolutely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. We loved it's proximity to both bus stations, corner grocery store, to the train station and a short walk to Lake Brienz. Best location in my opinion. The house was quite lovely, had everything you needed to feel at home. Kim was approachable, very accomodating and responsive to my messages. You'll definitely enjoy your stay here. Everything was tiptop. Clean, kitchen well-equipped, the mattresses very comfortable. It's a narrow mountain road to the house. For this, secluded in nature and wonderfully quiet. We will be happy to come back.
